i have had quite a crazy week…work has been really busy but im still getting to the gym and working hard. nothing…i mean nothing cuts into my gym time!!! i have had a really sore wrist for about 2-3 days now, i dont know what i did but damn it is killing me. i have a pretty big tolerance for pain…i’ll complain like a little girl but i wont let it stop me from doing things, i just live with it. i worked out yesterday and today despite the pain…i probably should’ve just rested it, but that just isnt me. i wanted to scream during my whole workout…but people think im weird as it is ;) tomarrow is my rest day…so it will get a little break. of course…it has to be my right wrist and im right-handed so its impossible not to use it! try parellel parking with your left hand!!! not fun…i suck at driving as it is :)

anywho, i never really realized how import music is to my training. when i woke up today, my wrist was in horrible pain (my dog was sleeping on it) the last thing i wanted to do was go lift heavy weights…but i made myself get to the gym! so when i put on my ipod, i was so pumped and ready to go. its so amazing the impact music can have. so fyi…the songs that got me lifting hard, depite the pain were: dropkick murphys ’shipping up to boston’ * system of a down ‘bounce’ * marilyn manson ‘beautiful people’  after those three songs…i was working hard…and feeling great!

i have my wrist wrapped with an ace bandage, hopefully with rest tomarrow i’ll be ready to hit the weights hard on sunday…if not hey i always have my ipod! :)
