eating more!
i’ve been increasing my calories…with the help of alot of great people on bb.com and i know i have to…but i dont wanna gain weight…(weighed myself this morning and i am 113.6). so im gonna post my diet for today…here it goes:
meal 1: 1 scoop of protein powder, 3/4 cup of oats
meal 2: homemade protein bar (yummy!)
meal 3: 1 scoop of protein powder, 1/2 cup of oat and 1 cup of veggies
meal 4: tuna fillet, and 1 cup of veggies
meal 5: salad and grilled chicken w/ balsalmic vinagarette dressing and 6oz of strawberries
meal 6: celery w/ natural p.b.
i get up and do cardio first thing in the morning (fasted) then i have my p.p. and oats…would it be more beneficial to have the p.p. before my cardio? meal 3 is my pwo meal (after weight training). i working on getting used to increasing my calories…to burn the fat! i went from 1250 to about 1500. i feel great…way more energy and much more satisified after i eat! YAY!
any feedback to help me out and let me know im in the right direction would be great!

Sounds like ur doing good. In my opinion I would take the P.P and oats before my cardio and have a snack after it as well .
If your tring to gain some weight your body needs something to burn before ur cardio and you need something to recover after it. Same with ur weight training program.
Keep it going girl ur doing great later and peace.

Food looks good to me, although I would replace M6 with a protein shake that is low in fat and cals, particularly if you\’re doing AM fasted cardio. It will help you sleep in a more fasted state. Myoplex Carb Sense is good. I do the same thing - a regular meal for M5, and then one scoop of whey with water or decaf coffee in a blender with ice about 2 hours before bed for M6. Seems like it would be more filling than celery and PB too, so less chance of late night hunger and snacking.
I also suggest supplementing with L-Glutamine in the mornings before cardio, to help maintain your muscle mass - ESPECIALLY if you\’re doing it fasted. I do weights and cardio both in a fasted state in the AM (weights before cardio), and I use a heaping tsp of L-Glutamine in water before and after my workout. It helps me to maintain my muscle mass, and also helps with recovery.
