Plateau broken. FINALLY!!

Finally with the addition of my BSN Lean dessert Protein shake (which I love so much)and new workouts including the new DVD by Jari Love called "Get Ripped 1000" I have finally broken my plateau. At the beginning of this new year and getting sick my scale was at 168 and today I weighed and I saw 166. YEAH!!! I am so happy the workouts paid off and I am ready for a hot February to continue transforming.

I don’t know what it is, but why are some people like me more motivated to get the weight of before summer and don’t really care as much during the fall months? It’s crazy. My mind is thinking I want to love awesome in my shorts and swimsuits for summer and the vacations that comes along with it too. Gotta love it!

Today I was to meet with a friend who is expecting for lunch and then drop my son to grandpa’s house so that mommy and daddy can have a little quiet time together for a few days. I hoping that we can do the same thing for Valentine’s Day too. :)

Well I am off to take care of some errands and when I return home it will be time to do Jari’s DVD and get a total body workout with weights and cardio too. Tomorrow I will get sore again, lol.

BSN Lean Dessert Protein Shake. Any users?

Has anyone tried this protein shake yet? I am so interested in ordering it tonight. I keep seeing it in Oxygen and reading reviews too. The calorie count is perfect and I am curious for any additional feedback. If you have time please let me know your comments on this product.

Upper Body Workout: Chest,Back, Arms &Abs

Ahh! It feels good to be back on plan with my goal now. How about you? Are you working on your goals for a leaner figure this year? What do you like about your results so far? What I like so far is that my body feels less bloated from good clean eating and the fat is beginning to melt off too.

Today I will be working out my upper today and challenging myself to lift heavier. Sometimes the body can get used to the same weight and then it time to challenge it again. My workout will be:

  1. biceps curls: 2 reps with 10lbs and 1 rep with 15lbs or 20lbs
  2. triceps: 2 reps with 5lbs and 1 rep with 10lbs
  3. chest: Butterflies on the bowflex 30lbs in each hand
  4. rows: 80lbs 3 reps
  5. lat pull downs: 100lbs
  6. Abs 15 minutes
  7. Cardio 45 minutes of Tae bo Amped!!!

Photobucket  I got my plan together and ready to go. So I am excited. I am also excited because I will be ordering tonight Jari Love’s get ripped 1000 calories burn DVD. Have any of you tried this one? It was got some good reviews and was also listed in the February issue of Oxygen too. Then tomorrow I will be running to GNC to pick up BSN Dessert protein shake in Chocolate Fudge pudding flavor. I can’t wait to try it!! Its only 130 calories per serving and has 20g of protein too. I hope that I like because it sure is less in calories than the muscle milk I bought. That stuff is so high so Fred, my hubby, will keep it to  use in his routine. He can allow for the extra calories I can’t other wise I will be too big! I can’t wait to see results next month!!

Seriously, It Is Time To Get To Work!

I am kind of bumbed, but I am not going to whine. I have been slacking and eating too much and now I am back to square one again! I can not slack off any longer. This summer I want to be leaner than ever and look sexy in my bikini. How am I going to do it? The old school way. Lift, cardio, and clean mean eating. That’s it!!

I have been sick 2 weeks ago with an upper respiratory infection and ate very little of  nothing and when I started to feel better last week. I was hungry as hell, so….. I ate like a freakin PIG! I will leave out the details because it involves a trip to McDonalds, Panda Express and Cake… Opps! I was going to leave out the details, lol. So, needless to say my scale is mad has hell (168lbs YIKES!!)and I am going to gain control.

P.S. Can anyone suggest a good fat burner/muscle building supplement to me? I tried Hydroxy cut and it does work, but… I was feeling shaky and unbalanced. I lost 6 pounds with it, but then I stopped and gained 4 back.

Well, I am off to bed, but i would appreciate any recommendations from you all.
