After 9:00pm & Cardio is done!!

With feeling sore from my leg/butt workout yesterday and still managed to get my cardio in tonight! I am so proud of myself because I so much wanted to not do it and just veg out on the couch. But I got my butt up, popped in my Billy Blanks tae bo cardio DVD in and I worked out for 30 minutes and man was I sweating bullets. The other great thing is that I burn 460 calories with this short workout. Yey!!! So now I can truly rest and get my mind ready for tomorrow.

Tomorrow I do not have to work, so I will be working out on my bowflex. I will be working out:

  1. biceps
  2. triceps
  3. lats
  4. abs
  5. upper and lower back
  6. chest
  7. shoulders

Then later that evening I will be going for a two mile jog with my galpal in the neighborhood. You think I got a okay workout? I know I am going to be sore as hell, but in the long run the body will look AWESOME!! Hopefully this weekend I can post more pics of myself so that I can have some official starting photos. Well, I better go for now.

This week is over!! Next Week A Fresh Start

Grr! This week flew by so fast and not much movement for me in the exercise and weight training department and I am so disappointed! I am lucky that I got 3 days is this week when I usually workout 5 days a week. I have been maintaining my weight thank God, but it is difficult to fit all of my workouts in with working a full-time job. I guess I just need to make a better plan and get up earlier in the morning and go to bed earlier in the evening so that I am not so darn tired! It is only 9:35pm and I could go to bed right now and maybe I should too.

Tomorrow is a new start to the week and I will just start off fresh and not beat myself up about not reaching my planned goals this week. My goal for tomorrow is to get up earlier before I go to work and exercise and then get ready for work. I will at least complete my high cardio workout for 45 minutes and when I come home and I will weight train my upper body in the evening before dinner for another 30 minutes. Does that sound like a good plan? I hope so. Well I am off to get a facial massage from my hubby, he is so sweet, and then I am hitting the pillow for the rest of the evening. I hope that all of you had a great week and I wish you the best for the next coming week.

Getting Started

I am so excited to join a community like this one. This community is full of inspirational stories and I am so inspired. I can’t wait to start learning tips on building a leaner body this all season. I am in the mist of recommitting myself back to my normal workout schedule again and I welcome any tips for you pros out there to help in my progress. In a bit I am off to weight train on my bowflex to workout out my quads and hamstrings and then later I will kick up the cardio after I drop my son off to his grandpa’s house for the weekend. I wish all of you the best in your future goals and I will chat back later with lots of progress.
