Feb 15 - Feb 21

Sunday, February 22nd, 2009

Thursday Feb 19 I did a four mile walk. My car broke down and while it was getting fixed I walked four miles. I don’t know how long it took me but I walked at a fast pace.

That is all I did for the week. I am not making excuses but don’t forget I am a tile setter so I do work physically hard. I am not just lounging on the couch the rest of the week. I know I need to get to work.

I ordered a Rugby ball and my family and I are going to get out and play. My middle daughter has played it in school and I played it when I was in the Marine Corps. We both love it and will do it the most. Hopefully that will be regularly enough to work as my cardio.

Feb 8 - Feb 14

Sunday Feb 8 I did a 3 mile bike ride in 20 minutes. Crunches 3 sets 20 reps, Push Ups using the Perfect Push ups 3 sets 15 reps, Squats 2 sets 20 reps no weight (except my own body), Bicep curls 2 sets 15 reps with 25 lb dumbbells, Shrugs 2 sets 25 reps with 25 lb dumbbells, Tricep Extensions 2 sets 10 reps with 10 lb dumbbells, Lateral Shoulder raises (front, side and rear) 3 sets 10 reps each with 3 lb dumbbells. I did the shoulders consecutively. I did the front than the side and the rear without stopping. The 25 lb weights are the heaviest I have right now so I have to deal with that. I did feel a bit sore for a couple days so I did push myself quite a bit.

Monday Feb 9, Crunches 3 sets 20 reps, Plank 3 sets 30 secs each, bicycle 3 sets 15 reps, reverse Crunch, 3 sets 15 reps, back lift 3 sets 5 reps.

 That was it for the week. I started strong and ended with a dud.

Feb 1 - Feb 7

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

Again I did not do any exercising but I did concentrate on my eating. Most of the week I was working with Vinyl cove base and it irritates my skin and had my fingertips bleeding making everything very painful. I did however write up an exercise schedule for this week. Yes, I actually wrote one this week. I woke up early today and did what I wrote down. So next week’s blog will have something to put in, finally. I did manage to lose weight, I’m down to 218.2 lbs. I also lost some of my waist, I’m down to 44.5 inches. My body fat is down to 26.5%. So I am on the right path. I just need to go down that path a little more consistantly.

I had some things happen this past week that have made a life change for the positive. So because of this I forsee much better progress in the future. OK so there may be more on that later. Maybe not, I don’t know yet. However, check back next week for my exercise schedule for the week. Thanks.

Jan 25 - Jan 31

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

Jan 28th I did some core exercises. They are as follows: The Plank I did 3 sets of 30 seconds each, The Bicycle 3 sets of 20 reps, Reverse crunch 2 sets of 20 reps, the Back Lift 1 set of 20 reps. I could feel it though I could have done more. The rest of the week I was down with some kind of stomach flu and a pounding headache from a reaccuring sinus infection. I am determined to do better this month. It is a short month and I am going to put up my progress pictures at the end of the month. So I have got to get some work done before that. My waist is currently at 45" and my weight is at 221.5. This month I am also concentrating on having breakfast and packing good lunches. For breakfast I usually skip it or grab some fast food breakfast. I bought some Fiber One and some bananas for breakfast. I am going to have that and an egg or two for breakfast.
