Getting back on track

I had a rough week and a half. I let life get in the way and made too many excuses to not workout. Now on Monday I injured my back at work and am trying to let it heal. I don’t want to push it and injure it further. Even though I have had a slow month with the exercises I have still been able to lose a few pounds and a couple inches off my waist. I am going to rest a couple more days to make sure my back is good to go and then get going. I am looking forward to a better month next month and will try an finish this one out strong.

I blew it

Yep, unfortunately I blew week two of my challenge. I will be getting back on track on Monday. Going to the rec center to work out gives a decent work out but it is frustrating not being able to get a real workout. I did pick up some Whey Protein to help and am hoping that will give some results. I’ll let you know next weekend how this week goes.

Progress Pictures

I just uploaded three pictures from my first day of my Body for Life Challenge. They were all taken on the 1st of September but I had to put a different date or they would not show on my main page. I will correct that when I put some new progress pictures up at the end of September. So far in my first week I went down from 227.5 to 223 lbs. My waist went from a 47.5 to a 46. Hopefully this coming week will show some good results too.

I started today!

Yeah, I started the Body for Life Challenge today. I am doing a modified version. I am unable to get the supplements they require and I have very limited exercise options so I am going to use the rest of this year to ease into the program, learning where I am at physically and getting used to the changes. In January I am hoping to be in a position to get the supplements and join a gym and go full steam ahead. It would be a blessing to win but I really just need to make a healthier lifestyle my main goal at this time. Wish me luck and I will post progress pictures at the end of each month.
