So about 8 weeks ago I started eating healthy….my boyfriend, who is currently training for a bodybuilding competition, was my motivator. I kept seeing how much he was improving…and I knew that I wanted to see the same thing happen to me. I have always been active- running/lifting…and I always thought I could eat whatever I wanted to and get away with it just because I worked out….but I soon realized that that was not the case at all….that no matter how much I ran or how much I lifted, if i ate crap–i looked and felt like crap. So i decided to eat the foods my boyfriend was eating, and in about 2 months I lost 11 lbs, and my body fat went from 17.2% to 15.0%. Ever since then, I feel great, and my running performance has improved dramatically. My only regret is that I just wish I had eaten healthier sooner.
