Now for those ladies who veiw this don’t take this the wrong way. But this is a pure observation, or a sign I have been in Iraq way too long.
But does like bodybuilding like enhance womans breasts or is it everyone getting implants these days? I maybe blunt on the matter but all the fine gals with cut midsections also have like perfect form on the goods up there.
But like i said, I might of spent toooo many days in Iraq…

Well my time in Iraq is coming to an end shortly. I quit working out last week, and just been running daily. The weather has been changing, getting cold in the night. So now I have a bad cold, and a runny nose that is annoying the hell out of me.
I taped my waist the other day, I am down to a 28in waist, woot! I had been losing weight because I quit eating so much food. I started eating big salads, and fruits mainly at lunch. Dinner time I eat whatever is there. Bring back some fruit to snack on though the day.
The fat around my midsection is starting to decrease, so something must be working. Think I am going to increase my running now, start training for 10k’s twice a day. Since I started doing 5k twice a day I dropped 7 lbs in 2 weeks.
Anyways I can’t wait to go home.

My new stack of things has me like on a intense high. I ran about a 10k today and I dont even feel tired. I have been off for a few weeks waiting for my shipment to arrive, plus I have been traveling around. I start back up tomorrow with my workouts, with help of my supervisor and a SSG in the army that is a personal trainer/body builder as his normal job back home, I should be in great hands on getting some hard gains.
Now if I can get used to feeling like I have to do something constantly, I can relax a bit lol.

I was taped and had my BF% tested. The guy who is cerified said i was at 7% body fat.
How can i be at 7% when I know I have fat over my chest/abs? I have a 29.5in waist….does this mean everywhere but my midsection is cut or what?

I am sick of eating chicken and salad every day. I am not a big fish eater, but i am trying to hack it down. Seems no matter how much I eat or how many times a day I eat, my bodies metabolism is not speeding up. I think skipping breakfest for two years has hurt me by slowing my body down…
Waiting on my new supplements, once I get them I am going to start eating more meals a day and go from there. Hope this works.

I seem to be running further without like dieing of exhuastion. So now I am going to start doing short sprints in series. Also going to add some more db workouts, lunges, stiff leg deadlifts ect. I also started doing cable rows, and i have noticed a big difference in my chest.
Ab’s ….fat is still there…blah

Well today is 9/11, and I am not back in the states to see all the news coverage or different types of memorial services being held. Instead I am over here designing and planning a base camp in Iraq so the soliders will have a better life here. I turn 22 the 15th and I the only beer I get to drink is some non alcoholic coors. Oh yay….
I have been working long hours, come in at 6 am and leave around 10pm. I look at the same CAD drawing all day, using attention to detail to perfect my work so the next team that comes in december will have a great working map drawing.
Heres the problem, since I have no time to work out, I have been getting sick. I am always tired and just want to sleep right now. But I push all of that to the side because I have an important mission. Being the one of the slim amount of Air Force makes me proud to say I can put my name on this base map, and say I designed, surveyed and took the time to put it all together. No one can take that from me.
I have this tiny corner for the desk, a area just big enough for me to have a twin size bed to sleep in. These buildings smell like dust so my allergies have been going nuts.
But at the end of the day, you know what I am doing.
Smiling
Why? Because not everyone gets to do my job. Many people dont understand the importance in planning/running the base. Life support, medical care, community and a bigger morale area are just some of things I am improving for folks here. I am making this all happen right now, with no one telling us we cant put this building here.
I will be happy I came here, but glad to finally go home this winter. Sad thing is I will be coming back in less then 6 months.
God help me.

I reached my weight goal of 175lbs. Now I am trying to decide to really cut down or bulk up. I was once 205lbs 2 years ago for 18 months, just i just quit lifting and lost 55lbs of muscle mass. I dont think im going to have the time to bulk up, so I am thinking I will just get ripped. Work on form and defiition.

I ran around the base today to clear my head. I had my headphones on listening to pantera, thinking about things and life. I sweated to death it seemed like but I wasnt getting tired. So I picked up the pace up to 8 min miles after running a mile I still felt great. So I started running hard as I could, by this time slayer was playing, I dunno I must of been in the mood to run today. When I got done I was just soaked in sweat. Ended up dumping a water bottle over me and sitting in the shade for 10 mins then I did a light jog to loosen up. I almost decided to do some sprints but i was like **** it. This next month is going to be stressful for me, going to a totally different area to do my job. All the possible dangers of happening, not to mention I am flying boy Helichopper kinda freaks me out. There was a Chinook that crashed the other day…yeek
