Its been almost a year since I updated this badboy. Well, things have gone well since then. Bodyfat hasn’t changed too much but strength has def gone up. Deadlifts are up more than 515 now and squats are going well too. Working on 500 for those. Bench needs to go up though. I’m trying a double of 315 on monday… hopefully will beast it. I also need to take some new pics even though all you will notice is that I’m a bit thicker (bit more bodyfat) I really dont look any more muscular… maybe in my legs. But yeah, think I’m going to start updating this regularly again. Later folks.

Did some light squatting today, sets of 15 with 185, still wasn’t easy though. Didn’t want to put a lot of weight on my knee. Also stayed away from the leg press too. I did more hamstring work and it felt great. My knee feels better after that workout, def gonna keep icing it and stretching a good amount to keep it loose. It just keeps tightening up, don’t know why though. I have pressing day tomorrow!

is the end of my membership at JP’s fitness center… I think I start school by then so I will be able to use the student activity center’s weightroom. I’m a bit scared about this though. I have lifted there before and it gets to the point where it gets so packed that you have to wait for equipment all the time. Not optimal if you want to get your workout done in under and hour, which is ideal. Plus I’m used to this gym now, which I wasn’t and I made a few buds lifting there too. Some knowledgable guys. On to today’s workout! It was upperbody pressing movements today. 8 sets of 3 on bench, did 235 through the majority until the very last set I did 250 for 3 and just hit failure. Thats the goal, failure on the last set. Then three sets of 12 on dips with 25 lbs added, last set I got about 8 reps though. Got a good stretch and was very explosive with the pressing portion. Felt great, no shoulder pain. Then did 3 sets of DB seated military press… by then my tris were so pumped, it was great. Did some tri pressdowns and then some side laterals… ended my workout with a few sets of Incline cable flys, love these so much more than DB flys of any sort, I feel constant tension through the exercise which I think makes a big difference. Plus my chest needs to grow. Lastly, just did some RC work to keep the RC healthy even though I know doing horizontal pulling movements are a much better option since when you strengthen the upper back muscles, you take stress off the RC which is great. FACEPULLS! Might put those back into my workout sometime soon. Stopped my shoulder pain within a month or so when I was having it. Dang, this is a long blog, I will cut it off right here.

Busted out some squattage today. Ended up with 315×5 for my last set, 3 reps more than last weeks. Full squats too! So I am very excited about that. My legs look better than ever. My calves have only grown a quarter inch but its better than nothing. I have back/bi’s on thursday and pressing movements on friday.

Did em yesterday and did it pretty short. Good workout though, had to cut it short to go hunting for the last time of the season, and I shot a doe. So thats free meat for a while. WOOOO.

Feels like the most productive one in a while. Added a new exercise in, Pulldowns with the rope attachement. Realllllllllly felt this, a lot. By upper back/lats are destroyed and I wub the feeling. Now I just gotta get all the protein in. Hooray for sweet workouts!

But i’m still here and lifting hard. Actually lifting harder than I have before and I am gaining some size now! Arms are up 3/4 of an inch almost. Plus my legs are starting to get some defenition to them with the full squats and grueling leg workouts. Just haven’t been posting… todays upperbody workout was pretty sweet though. Had some know it all pencil arm kid trying to tell me how to lift though, I almost laughed at him but just bit my tongue. But yeah, gotta go to work. Later all!

and I’m wondering where I should do it at…. old gym or the new one I have been going to. Its decided…. old gym. I’m lifting with my cousin dave. First time lifting with somebody in a while. Should make it a good lift, even though I have been pushing myself harder in the gym latley. Its working too, i’m noticing little things with defenition in areas and what not.

Bound to happen eventually, the last few have been amazing so one downer won’t hurt me I don’t think. Today was back/bi’s and I figured I would progress on pullups but I didn’t, I need to find some other way to progress I think and try that way. Tomorrow I’m going to try tripling 270-275 for bench but I’m not sure because I had a flu shot today and that might make me feel a little less strong than usual tomorrow. We’ll see how it goes.

Tripled 265 on friday, great workout. Felt very intense and stuff. Also did 20 mins on the treadmill after.
