First Show?
Well, my birthday is this weekend (Saturday) and I thought that maybe a present to myself is to compete. Only a personal trainer would do something like that. So this weekend in Allentown, PA there will be a show and I plan on registering. After realizing how much I would have to do this week to be ready, I sat down with my husband and he agreed to help me make it there. I am in the process of finding daycare for the babies, drumming up money for tanning, waxing, hair, nails and exfoliation. Oh yeah, did I mention that I also need a suit. I have a friend, who was a successful IFBB Pro, who is going to let me try one of her suits. The problem: she's about 4 shades later, has way more boob and less bootay. LOL..so can you say, bikini bite, fashion tape, and boob inserts; all in four days..lol! The colors of the suits are hot pink and gold..lol..did I mention that we are about 4 shades apart in color..hilarious! Also, hot pink is one of the colors my coach said to stay away from as a brownskinned lady. Actually I cleaned what he said up, he's way more crass... LOL, this will be one to remember; talk about a first time experience! The pictures next week, hopefully will be me on stage! Wish me luck everyone...
Wow! Good luck at your show this weekend! You must already be in great shape to be conditioned enough to step on stage! I wish I stayed that way year round! Haha...Huge task ahead of you, but it can be done and have a good time on stage, that is the most important thing! :)
Thank you sooo much for stopping by! I am not ready yet but thought I should get y feet wet. I am just trying to catch up to all the other women that have been doing this thing and juggling families.
Nah, staying that way year round is no fun and un-healthy. We are still real women and real women got a little more junk in the trunk than any competitior..I know I do..lol...! My goal is to remain with in 10lbs of competition weight...then I won't have to diet for soo long:)
