The slacker is back - Take… what… 4?

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

karell

I got the Doc’s ok, I got the Wife’s kick and now I saw my weight stabilize (still a bit high).

Time to hit the gym seriously again, the break is now over.

New clothes

Saturday, May 24th, 2008

Oh damn, I’m gonna have to take a picture of these tops, damn I look good.

Well, looking at the beer-drinking blimp that I used to be, yes, I find that I look very good in them.

YOU KNOW THAT SADDLE - I’M BACK ON IT - AGAIN

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

karell

Wow, I should probably save this post and then just paste it in every now and then.

I used to be like clockwork and go to the Gym every weekday, no longer the case, I have to get back in the groove.

THE WIFE PUT HER FOOT DOWN

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

karell

Apparently the wife is sick and tired of my hollyday-season hiatus. I’ve been ordered back to the gym and instructed to continue to work on my goals.

She is so sweet… Oh well, it’s gonna hurt

BACK IN THE SADDLE

Friday, December 21st, 2007

karell

Being a body builder is not easy, how many times do I hear: "I could be a body building, but if I were to work out I’d become huge, and I don’t want that, my body is just like that"

Sure thing, beleive what you want. However the truth is that there is a science and nobody has all the answers yet. Some have a lot of answers but still not all. (In 10 years, when we make new discoveries, I may eat that statement, hope it’s low in fat…)

Nutrition, in my case, is especially not easy. I love food, i’m just like that. I have a very bad nutrition week (7 days) but i’m happy to say that i’m back on track and on the saddle. Which makes me wonder, if I can get my weigth back on track in a week, what could I have accomplished if I would have stuck to the diet and the regular work outs?

Makes you think…

Discipline is everything, at least in my case.

Damn stubborn fat, weight won’t go down again. Let’s give it a few more days and we shall see.

DRAW FOR THE WEEK END

Monday, December 10th, 2007

karell

No lost weigth for the week-end and none gained (+0.1kg), I’d say that my willpower to resist my love’s cooking is growing stronger. Can’t say that she’s happy about it but at least she likes the theory that I’ll be around longer to enjoy it. In the end, with the extra years, it will probably turn out that I ate just as much anyways.

RECORD LOW? IT GETS BETTER

Friday, December 7th, 2007

karell

Ok, another record. I don’t think that i’m going to start a habit of listing them here because at this point I haven’t been at this weight for years. 87.9 Kilos, that’s a bit under 194 pounds.

It feels great and I should kick myself and put up a progress picture soon.
