New Program

Monday, August 6th, 2007

karell

I’m on this new program from Craig Ballantyne called Turbulence Training. I’ve started with the intermediate program and we will see what happens. So far, Craig’s promise is true, they have not 2-hour workouts. And I’ve started sweating only after the second exercise.

Let’s see what happens.

Experiment Result - Inconclusive

Monday, August 6th, 2007

karell

This is interesting, at least i’m no longer gaining weight but i’m not losing it either. Could it have been the shakes? My wife theorizes that the extra calories and the excess proteins may have been turning into fat. Funny, when I was 15-16 I would have given anything to have a miracle powder that could have made me gain a pound a week.

We shall see, i’m still not back on the protein supplements. I want to continue for a little while and see if I can start to shave off some pounds with my new program.

Experiment

I’ve been taking these protein shakes for the last 3 weeks and i’ve noticed that my weight (and fat %) keeps going up. I’m going to cut the shakes for one week and see how progress measures and see about any changes.

One cannot improve what one cannot measure, i’ll eliminate things until I find the culprit. More time in the gym is just a patch, it’s better to understand what is happening.
