Morning peeps!! Slept like the dead last night and I needed it since I didn't finish work until 7:30 pm!
Today is my 12 hour day, so that means cardio at lunch. It's going to be Insanity's 45 min workout. I'll let you know if I survive it!! lol!!
Yesterday I spent some of the day going through all my progress pics from the time I started and this time last year I was trimmer....I had less muscle, but I also had less body fat. So that got me to asking, what was I doing different then than I am now. A few things popped into my head, but the main one was, more cardio!!
I was running a 3 day split...3 days lifting, 3 days cardio and 1 rest. So I made up a plan and I looked at it and thought, dang that is alot of volume on lifting days!! So I found my workouts from Texas, and yep, I was doing alot of volume back then!! No wonder lifting days were 1 1/2 hours long! lol!!
But with my job being sedentary and me being menopausal, I need the extra cardio! So starting next week this is the new routine: Mon: back/shoulders/cardio at night, Tuesday:Insanity, Wed:chest/bis/tris cardio at night, Thursday: yoga, Friday: Legs, Saturday: Kickboxing, Sunday: rest/stretching
