I try to rest as completely as possible to chase away sickness. You want your body 100% dedicated to fighting the virus, which means lots of sleep and lots and lots of water.

You can get a lot done in 12 weeks. Hit it hard on Monday!

We all have our days. No matter what anyone tells you, everyone has an "off" day! I had mine yesterday...had some ice cream and chocolate last night! Allow yourself some wiggle room. Build up your expectations slowly and just worry about YOU, nobody else! you can do this girl!

I am happy to see that you are going to give the Body for Life program a try. You seem to be well prepared seeing as you have all your dietary needs taken care of already. I would suggest that you plan out your workouts exactly as you have planned out your meals. Hit the weights and then either go straight to a cardio session or do your cardio on its own day. If there is anything that I can do to be of assistance feel free to give me a yell. I had great results with Body for Life and am a huge fan.
I also suggest you take lots and lots of pictures as you are going to be so proud when you complete your transformation and everybody is going to have a hard time believing you did it in just 12 weeks.
Good luck.

Yes you can do this thing. I read your profile and you can focus on why you are doing it, not only for yourself, but for your loved ones too! My suggestion is to take it slow. Expect gains, but at a pace that is heathly and realistic. Also, every morning write down your fitness plans for the day on a sticky note. Hang it at work, car or home. Where ever you are the most. Keep it there until you complete that fitness goal for the day. The next day, list that fitness plans for that day...

You can do it! You'll feel great accomplishing your goals, and even better when you friends see that you've proven them wrong. What a great motivator to add on top of you wanting to do this for yourself! I wish you the best!!
