Good Times!!
Complete as many rounds as you can in twenty minutes of:
5 Handstand Push-ups
10 L Pull-ups
15 Steps, Walking Lunge
I got through 8 rounds when the time ran out. There was some serious scaling though, did Kip pullups and elevated pushups. Had one guy try to tell me I was making a fool of myself for kipping my pullups. I politely told him to mind his own ****ing business.

Went out to Torii CF today for the WOD
Jackie:
1000m Row
45lb Thruster x50
Pullups x 30
For time, I got about 11:00 but damn watch got bumped in my pocket and stopped running so I am not sure
Afterward Drew and I smoked out 135lb Squat cleans, 3 per minute on the minute for 5 minutes. (He did 175 for ten minutes but hey… lol)
I am spent now. Gonna take a shower and relax for the rest of this rainy saturday.

Rest day yesterday that works out great as I had to take the FIrst Class test in the morning and wouldn’t have time to workout.
Diet went all to hell today. I let the wife talk me into going out for Curry, so I ended up eating a ton of rice and curry sauce not mention the breaded meat.

I thought that I would start to chronicle my return to CrossFit here in the Blog section as so many others do, as the workout tracker is kinda hard to input CF workouts into, so following the footsteps of Docdru and Stormy, here I go!
Catching up, Monday did a Half-Murph before work
1 mile run
50 Pullups
100 Pushups
150 Squats
1 Mile run
finished in 26 minutes
The starting strength cycle destroyed my endurance, I was pretty sure I was going to die when I finished.
Today, 090304
I ran two miles this morning in ~20 minutes
This evening, the deadlift WOD from a few days ago
my weights were
135, 185, 245, 335, 345, 350, 355
So that was a PR, pretty exciting stuff

I decided to change things up in the gym a little bit for a while. I am going to put CrossFit aside for a few weeks and concentrate on strength training via Mark Rippetoe’s program/book known as "Starting Strength". I am hoping that a couple of months of good strength foundations will help me to complete the CrossFit WOD’s more effectivaly/efficiently.
I will still be heading out to Torii CrossFit on saturdays to do the WOD so I can stay in practice and visit with those awesome guys out there.

Only eight more days to go? I think I may make this a new lifestyle. I like it now. The cravings have passed and I can think more clearly, my performance in the Gym has been improving as well. Last night I cooked up some "Cauliflower Pizza" It was delicious! If I could remember the website I would write it up here, Sorry!! Anyways, I am having a lot of fun with this diet and I think I may look into Paleo next, wish me luck!

Well I think the worst of the withdrawals are over, That is good. I really don’t crave the Carbs hardly at all now. I am a little disheartened by the fact that my waist size has actually increased in the last few days though. I hope that is just an unfortunate side affect and this too shall pass.

So I joined a group of people on a forum I like to visit in a challenge to eat clean for 21 days. No grain or sugar is our big emphasis. I know to a lot of people on this site that is pretty normal, but for me it is brutal. I am on day two and already I have a pounding headache and I am grumpy as hell. But I am staying the course I want it to work. If anybody has any recipies or suggestions I would love to hear them!
(BTW the punishment for cheating on the "diet" is 100 burpees)
