He Made my Day!

Last weekend I went to the Arnold’s classic, is not the first time I have been there but always is an adventure.
Previous to this visit to the Muscle Mecca, I was out of shape and was fun but at the same time I felt intimidated seeing all that huge bodybuilders, I took a lot of pictures and when I saw them I felt even worst depress. This time was different, I have been doing the right things, I have a clear idea of where I want to be and my goals are set. I did not feel that intimidated. After the show me and my friends decided to go out and have some fun (like we did not have enough with that amount of people), we went to eat pizza (that I ate it all even feeling the guilt with every bite), then like I did not have enough carbs we went to a bar, we were there chilling out and having fun then …my first beer was over!, of course the bar tender came faster than light to offer me another one, with my guilt over passed and I moved my head agreeing with his gentile offer. Then we start chatting, he asked where do you come from? not sure if was because my accent or because we look like a tourists, but I said Michigan we came to the Arnold’s, so then he turned to me and said in a serious way, In which category did you compete?… HUH? I was not sure what I heard but I asked my drinking partner… what did he said?, he said if you compete… I was not sure he did that just trying to be nice and get some more sales (that happened) or he did not have an idea of what is the Arnold’s but for sure he made me feel really happy… He made my day!

M-dude, I’d say I agree with the guy who asked what category you compete in that you’d probably be ready to do a contest. Great build!

I hope to hear that comment made to me some day. It’s good to see other Michigan guys taking control of their bodies. Great job! You inspire me to keep pushing.
