I ran my first race in years this past Saturday… I didn’t train hardly at all by running, instead I swam and cycled, but my time still kicked some butt considering my muscle mass is up much higher than before
5 miles in 37:10… approx 7:30/mile… I was pleased.

While my diet may have suffered over Thanksgiving weekend my motivation did not… it felt so good to hear my sister say, “damn Mike, when did you get all muscley again?!”… and I just increased my cardio to compensate for the unhealthy food

In my quest to gain weight I am trying to eat more than ever. My hardest challenge with this is that I am at work all day. I began packing more and more healthy food to eat during the day and it seems to be helping… or at least mentally I am more pumped to workout. The only problem is that I am packing so much food that it won’t fit in my lunch box and I started using an old duffel bag to carry food to the office. My co-workers all make fun, but I will have the last laugh when I get huge! @ least I don’t have to ride the metro to work with my duffel full of food.
