Good Start

This is my first blog, so give me some love.

I have trained for a long time and have done pretty well staying in shape but I have never really gotten that body I was hoping for. When I would lose weight to get abs I also lost my size and muscle. Finally I found BB and came across some very helpful sources for dieting. For a couple of weeks now I’ve followed very closely - keeping my macronutrients in check. Right away I lost four pounds and 3% bodyfat. I am now trying to make sure I don’t start losing mass. I know it is in the middle of the winter but I really don’t want to go through a mass phase. I want abs!

From here I hope I can keep up a good balance of nutrients. I LOVE carbs. I didn’t reallize how much I ate until I started counting and trying to raise my proteins. I used to eat 3-4 bowls of cereal a day. Love cereal. Do we have to give up everything we love to get the body we want?

I have added supplements (whey, BCAA’s, etc.) which has given me more energy during my workouts. I am trying a couple of differents supps to help with recovery. I have a tendency to overwork my heart when I really get on track. So now is the test. Now is the time to find out if my adjustments in nutrients and added morning run help me reach that illusive 33 in waiste. Pray for me.
