Well, yesterday when I got off work, I started to go towards I-5 and heads towards the gym. The weather was gloomy with a rain snow mix, but nothing exciting. Then, I get a call from my wife, stating that I should curtail my gym activities and head home. I’m like "Uhm, no… I’m going to the gym". She then informs me that it has snowed 2 inches in a very short amount of time, and does not want me taking chances on the road with my new car. So, I told her that the weather where I was at wasn’t anywhere near that. Finally I relent to her wishes, and turn back for the 1 1/2 hour drive home. Then it hits… It was snowing so hard, and the flakes were so huge, that it looked like there had been a huge pillow fight. It looked like feathers were falling everywhere. (And, the new pups had never seen snow, so I was kind of looking forward to their reaction) So, after getting home, and playing with the pups in the snow I wound up just doing 3 sets of 30 crunches with puppy supervision. (We wound up getting a little over 4 inches of snow that night)

Well, Friday, I got a new car (Toyota Yaris 2008). Saturday, We got an 8 week old Rottweiler puppy. Sunday, we got a 7 1/2 week old Black Lab. Both are boys, and have kept me up most of the weekend. (Got 4 hours of sleep Saturday and Sunday night, combined) Hit legs, briefly, when the wife came in, and said we had a 4 hour drive to go get the Rottweiler. Tonight will be legs, and hopefully sleep.

I’m currently enjoying a brief lull/break, from things. I’ve got a lot of things coming up soon, but am stuck playing "the waiting game". Soon, I’ll be getting a new car (2008 Toyota Yaris), my wife and I will be getting 2 new puppies (one Rottweiler and one black lab), new sectional, new washer and dryer. I’ll also be submitting my entry form for the 2008 INBF Washington State Natural Bodybuilding and Figure Contest, promoted by KVNJames and DeniseJ (August 9th). I’ll be entering the novice and masters classes. But, until the check clears, I’m stuck waiting…
I’ve also opted not to enter the show here on base in May, and will concentrate all my efforts into the August show. Then, there’s the Tanji Johnson NPC Classic, that I will be a spectator at, as well as the upcoming Emerald Cup. I’m really looking forward to seeing my friends do well at those shows! The Emerald Cup will be especially fun, since we will have the Inaugural ABC (Animal Barbell Club) session for the Seattle chapter. So lots of good things on the horizon.

Well, it’s that time, again… The time to take inventory in your life… I’ve had a good run, the last year… Lost 40 lbs, between April and August… Competed in my first contest (Was the fattest guy onstage, but somebody has to be…) Had surgery… Got some really cool chances to do a lot of special things… Got some incredible hook-ups from the "Animal" line… Maybe it’s time to call it good… Just kick back… Grow old… I mean I am "pushing 40"… Who cares, right…?
PSYCHE!!!! I’m totally psyched up!!! I’m ready, and know what I need to do, Yeah, I quit alright… I quit putting limitations on myself…
