Breaking out of the “Funk”.
The past week, I was feeling weak, tired, drained. Just basically, in a funk". So, last evening, I changed up the old I-Pod with some killer tunes, and attacked legs. Let’s just say, that walking today, is a bit of a chore, but every ache and burn is well worth it! I’ve spent the past week, focusing on all the negatives of late, and forgot to enjoy what is going on. HUGE mistake! Between hitting another year older, bitching about my diet, self-doubting myself, and basically attempts at self-sabotage it all began to snowball. But, now I’m back with a renewed spirit, and plan on beating my body into submission, and enjoying every step of the way! As far as the workout, typical high volume. 3 sets of 30, followed by one set of 100 for most exercises.

OH NO!!!! I know how you feel though. I am breaking out of my own funk. Mine was caused by something completly different. I now have renewed spirit and ready to go back to the gym and work hard. Don’t forget about your contest in August. Focus on that. Hey I will check back in around that time to see how you did.

Dam!!! You were not kidding about those 100’s. Hey don’t feel bad everyone goes thru it. That is why what we do is not for everyone. It takes one tough spirit and your doing alright.
