Shake off the “haters” and “downers”
I’ve just drug my sorry butt out of a pit of self-doubt and constant listening to negative feedback. Be careful of those people that when you start out with a goal are behind you 100%. Because some of those very same people that were, there all of a sudden see that you’re making progress and might have success that turn around and start slamming you and your goals! I’ve been making some good progress, and all of a sudden, I get comments like, "We didn’t think you were serious", "Why are you even bothering?", and "You’re too old to attempt getting on stage." These are the same people that if you take a good look at them, are probably out of shape, unmotivated, even a bit jealous. They see the new you, as something that makes them look at themselves, and their own short comings. So, what I’m getting at, is don’t do what I did, and start to buy into the comments, believe in yourself, and take care of business. I wish you all happy holidays, and an awesome New Year!

Thank you. I needed to hear this right now. I am going through the same thing. It’s funny how easily intimidated people can get, and how they will knock you down, even when they are doing it unconsciously. Keep trusting in yourself.
Blessings.-
