What does your PROFILE name really mean? PT. 2

WOW, with plenty of new friends and plenty of new profiles, I still wonder what does YOUR profile really mean?  Is it a self-description of your attitude, style, passion, fashion, a double identity of you as a superhero, imaginary character, where you once was, are now, or going to be?  Some names are funny, some sad, some joyful, some weird, and some just simple.  From the Alphagams to the Great Pix, to the King, the Lady, ForRealz, Jacked, Fit and Ms and all other great inspirators out there, keep on encouraging one another and giving that boost that we sometimes need, just to make out to the gym.  Ask the ones who have been there, are trying to get there for guidance and a direction to go in.  Some are striving for the competition stage and some just want to lose the weight to be happy again.  We are all different, in all ways, yet still have that commonality of one mind for better health, better eating habits, better living and just setting our own goals and accomplishing them.  We strive together as a family for support and glad to hear the compliments when we have achieved the goals.  Thank you and I pray each one of you meet your goals!………………….MrBigGunz (MBG)

  2. Making_A_Change Says:

When i joined the site, my name described what action I was ready to take. I wanted to change by body, but more importantly the bad habits that lead to to being so unhealthy. It still fits today, as I continue to work on myself and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I feel like I will always be changing (phycially and mentally)–always trying to improve.

  5. Cowboy2Six Says:

Cowboy2Six is actually suppose to be Cowboy_Two_6 but it wouldn’t allow me to put it that way.

Cowboy was the unit call sign when I was in a certain unit during my 18yrs in the Army. The number was a way to identify th individual by vehicle and crew. Later that unit changed from "Cowboy" to "Head Hunter".

Coincidentally I happen to be a cowboy who was raised on a small ranch in south Texas. I raised and worked cattle and raised hogs for show.

The call sign (cowboy) fit me and well. While in the unit, friends called me "Cowboy" and foks I worked with called me "Doc". When I left that unit, I began to use that call-sign as a way to identify myself for online gaming or on chat or any other online profile. I have used that name for about 10 yrs maybe longer.

Anyway, that’s the story of how I came about using my Profile Name.

Now, I happen to be in a Cavalry unit and our call sign happens to be "Crazy Horse" but I will always be a cowboy.

Unfortunately for me, there arent too many people out there who like cowboys. Regardless, its who I am. and for those who don’t like cowboys..deal with it, lol -Cowboy2six (Doc) OUT!!!

I just made up my name back when I was a wee little lass and it’s just sorta stuck. I think it’s funny and I never seem to get a "sorry, this name has been taken" message when I try to sign up for stuff. :)

  8. LongnHard Says:

People who read my blogs know that my workouts are often LongnHard. Other People who read my BodySpace stats know that I am Long (6’1”) nHard (well OK I am still working on this!) Some people think that the meaning is obvious ;) But the real meaning is… I’m not telling!
