The Body I Deserve (March 29 2008)
Just as I promised myself, today, I did legs curl, legs press, and legs extension on low weight but high reps. I did a light tri/bi/ and abs workout, then took a few minutes rest, jumped on the treadmill and did a 20 minutes cardio. It seem my legs don’t even want to move, but have no choice. Completed 2 miles/ 20 minutes, then I just walked to cool off. I looked in the mirror and still seeing a flab of yucky fat on my abs, was a bit discourage. It’s funny, I’ve been only working out for less then a year, but I want to achieve the same result as others who been working out for years and years–I can’t help it! I want immediate result and I know it’s not possible. Ms. Fitness, ChickenTuna and Josh, have been working out for a long time to enjoy the result they have now OK! Quang. lol ![]()
hmm…What can I be proud of about my fitness journey from 2007 till now?
-I am no longer overweight, got rid of 40lbs of junk!
-I look good new clothes, clothes fit me better
-I am the only one that look fit in my choir, friends and my co-workers
-I am discipline/ I do what I said I do
-I have more self-confidence
-I feel more attractive
-I no longer feel ugly, fat
-I know I can make changes to things I don’t like
-I feel good inside and out
-I don’t mind taking my shirt off
-I am not afraid to run
-I found the secret to look younger, healthier
-My nickname is no longer "fatty"
-I prove to myself that I can do anything if I am committed to it, and to others that doubted me before
-I surprised those that used to know how big I was
-I feel good seeing faces of those who used to call me fat and make fun of me, because guess who is the fatty now …lol…
darn i feel good after making that list…the journey to fitness continue
