whats going on???

December 4, 2007

Ok,I’m 5′2, weigh about 100 pounds, and I look a mess. I dont seem to be gaining any muscle, I feel shit, tired all day long as well, and despite training my body looks awful, skinny arms, boney bits, yet a flabby tummy. I want a fitness model figure but I dunno what to do, I eat around 1800 calories a day, weight train 3 times a week, and do 3 cardio classes a week, sometimes I eat an extra yogurt if Im doing cardio.

heres my current diet :

8AM - muesli and milk with dried raisens

10AM - small flapjack

12PM- chicken sandwich, salad, cottage cheese, yogurt

3PM - chocolate bar or large yogurt

5PM - warm meal, often beans, chcicken and salad, when i do cardio i have crackers and cheese with salad, followed by yogurt and fruit

9PM - either small protein shake and milk, or a yogurt

i need nutrition and training advice please as im going stir crazy!

Time to gain a little

November 4, 2007

I need to gain a few pounds. My weight has maintained but my body is telling me I’m not healthy. Dry skin, getting colds, low pain threshhold, freezing! Maybe I’m gaining muscle and lossing fat, I dunno, but I need to look at adding a bit and being healthy.

I can’t begin to tell you how hard this is going to be, and whether I’ll even succeed.

Taking the stress of the week out on the machines…

November 2, 2007

What a stressful week I’ve had. Stuck in a edicational nightmare that I need to get out of (and soon!), and been spending every waking moment trying to sort out a new and entirely different career path!

Training this morning helped me forget about all these stresses because I could concentrate on lifting heavier and targeting the areas I want to improve. It’s a great escape from life for 40 minutes, I’d reccomend to anyone!

Being normal

October 27, 2007

Just been out with my dad for tea, I know this isnt a great acomplishment but for me it was a big step. So no comfortable with meals out and would rather not bother, but eating out IS normality. I didnt go nuts, I’m not the burger eater I once was, but I enjoyed my chicken breasts and vegetables, and even managed a few scoops of vanilla icecream. The problem with restaurants is that I can’t count what I’m eating, and I probably undercompensated tonight, but I did it, I dont have to do alot, my dad understands, but I managed and I’m proud of myself. Sometimes I want to just forget I’m a little strange and be normal. It feels good :)

Pumping iron in the morning

October 26, 2007

I LOVE ceasing the day! Getting up and driving to the gym when it’s still dark is fabulous, and hitting the weights when there’s nobody around to get in your way makes sure I get everything I need to get done effectively. My abs are looking a little better, much better to when I first came out of hospital, but if im honest I know I don’t have well defined ones but I’m getting their! Gonna start back on the protein in a few weeks to get the most out of my training xxx

Welcome!

October 23, 2007

So here we are, been away from training for a few months and trying to ease back into it slowley. No cardio for a while, just weightlifting, which I love! Eventually I’ll be back into the cardio, but you won’t see me on treadmill or a stepper - I like good old fashion combat, martial arts style wokring out!

I feel like a house, untoned and puny, but I hope to get the shape back that I once had, but a healthier shape! Wish me luck it’s a long road I guess!! :)
