Today gave me a better idea where I stand as far as bodyfat index. I used the machine at the gym to caculate this and currently I am at 18.9% which i think is high. According to one of the instructors at O’Brien’s I am below average according to my weight/height and age. I am not happy with this total. I can tell just by my body appearance this has gotten better from where I was one year ago, but much work is to be done. I would like to see this number drop to the ballpark of 12% or better. A bodyfat reading will be taken every 2 weeks (on my thursday off going into my weekend to work) to better track my progress.
Eating habits will continue to improve, will be ratcheting down on calorie intake and pop consumtion (drinking pop will be limited to 1 day or less a week until it tapers to not at all). The eating six to eight meals a day is a good idea, and I need to continue to do this. There will be continued updates ahead to track progress of BFI.
