Body Telling me to rest??
So far, all of this week’s workouts have been kind of crappy. I have been able to hold my own, but I have had to drop the weight or stayed the same on many of my exercises. I just don’t have the drive to push any harder this week. I don’t know if it is my body telling me that it is time for a break or what, but I can’t quit now. Actually, I already have a scheduled break set up for the week of November 26. It is only two workout weeks away, but I think my body has had it now. I picked that week, because I have a lot of things to do, including going to my hunting camp for a few days. This means I will be no where near a gym, (or work, HA ha) for that matter. Anyway, do you think I should press on for the two weeks or listen to my body and give it a break now?

Take three days off right now and go from there, Monk. If you’re indeed "over-reaching"….then those three days will do alot for you. Consider it a "test"….see what happens when you return. I think you’ll feel better both MENTALLY and PHYSICALLY. Then you can get an idea what’s gonna happen when you go hunting…..PULL A MOOSE out of the woods…that’ll take the place of two weeks of IRON liftin!!! LOL.

I’m in the same place. Trying to hang in there until the same week when I have eye surgery planned. I did take 2 days off earler this week and it felt good. You are quite the outdoorsman… fishing and hunting. I have a bro inlaw that wants me to come back to ND to hunt deer with him. Me, from SoCal in ND in the winter? I don’t think so! Hang in there and have a great time.

I think that you could use a break- get your brain trained again to motivate yourself when you come back. Remember, you’re training for your overall mental and physical health, not just for aesthetics.
Good hunting!
