Deadlifts again
Wednesday, July 18th, 2007Today was the first day that I deadlifted in about 3 months. Wow! I forgot how it drains you. I performed my squat routine and then moved on to the deadlift. I don’t remember being that out of breath or sweating that hard in a long, long time. I was surprised that I was able to keep up with my squat numbers on my first day back. In fact I got 275 x 4 on the deadlift. One thing that I have to remember is to wear pants on squat, deadlift day, because the bar tore my leg up. It scraped my leg on the first set, and then it was very hard to keep from doing it over and over again.
