At 65 years old, most of your friends will be sitting idle in an old-folks home, counting the weeks by the number of times they play bingo – and measuring their health (or lack of) by the handful of pills they swallow. But not you. If you learn how to boost one single enzyme in your body, you can defy aging the easy way. You’ll be traveling the world, parachuting for the first time, dancing the night away with your wife, or perhaps starting a new, highly profitable business. That enzyme is known as telomerase.Telomerase acts as a shield for your genetic blue print – DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). It protects it from getting shorter and older. The more you have, the healthier and stronger you are.

One of the best ways to preserve or enhance telomerase production - and functional lifespan - is to limit food consumption to only three meals per day. This helps to optimize our “hormonal intelligence” which in turn preserves the enzymes that shield DNA from being shortened and speeding up your expiration date. Few people are leveraging this age defying secret because they are always shoving something into their mouth. You can stop this age accelerating action with one simple eating habit.

The trick to minimizing meals and cravings is to eat those foods that are most satisfying, while at the same time, have a minor effect on the output of our fat storing hormone known as insulin. One of the most effective foods is whey isolate.

Its beneficial role on controlling hunger and the subsequent anti-cancer properties reflects this. Researcher writing for Advanced in Food and Nutrition Science write that, “Cell culture studies have demonstrated that whey protein or whey protein components selectively inhibit cancer cell growth. Whey protein, cultured with the oestrogen-responsive human breast cancer cell line and a prostate cancer cell line, significantly reduces cell growth.” Other “real-natural” foods that help slow the aging process are avocados, grass fed beef, coconut oil, seeds, nuts and eggs.

It’s finally here: the wonder cure that sick American’s have been waiting for. It’s called Acai. Whether you are a member of The Fat Cow Hall of Fame, being ravished by high blood sugar, or being overcome with cancer, Acai berry is your key to optimal health and longevity. If you believe this, then the Oprah, and Dr. Oz marketing noose, which strangles health and wealth, is already around your neck. Acai products are loaded with sugar - natural or otherwise. Remember your Mom telling you to avoid sugar? Most people don’t. The average American chokes down a whopping 160 pounds per year. A healthy human body can’t take more than 10 or 15lbs annually. (Find out how much you are consuming at http://alturl.com/o8pb.) Acai drink products contribute to the overdose. Acai products are marketed as super antioxidants. Cinnamon is light years ahead. But you can get that for pennies on the acai dollar at your local grocery store, which is why head-hunting marketers aren’t telling you about it. Acai products do contain a negligible amount of a natural product known as anthocyanidins. These can be a huge asset to your cardiovascular system. But you can obtain quadruple the amount - for pennies on the acai dollar and without the cardiovascular poison sugar - from a hearty organic salad or an over-the-counter, nutritional supplement known as bilberry.Still, neither cinnamon nor bilberries are wonder cures. Nothing can overcome America’s addiction to bad habits, especially wanton sugar consumption. The recent popularity in sugary sweet acai and declining health proves this. Want a real wonder cure? Remove the marketing noose and abandon sugar.

http://www.thepeopleschemist.com/

A dizzying array of supplement questions exists. I should know, I’ve asked them all. What products really work? What dose should I take and when? Can I mix supplements? Do I take with or without food? Are they pure? No doubt, it can be damn hard to get the right answers.

Fortunately, I’ve been married to an organic chemist (www.thepeopelschemist.com) for ten years, which means I don’t have to play the supplement guessing game - or squander time and money. With his help, I get all the answers and only use what works and nothing more. And as a top figure competitor, I’m excited to share three must-have supplements that help me get a winning, ultra-fit physique.

Supplement #1: Attaining inhuman strength and libido with steroids

Steroids are awesome. There, I said it. But before you start gasping you should understand that I’m not talking about illegal, anabolic steroids. I’m talking about my own, naturally produced steroids, particularly, a healthy production and balance of estrogen and testosterone. With proper output and balance of my steroid hormones, I experience increased muscle, libido, more muscle and even more libido. This is what being a Hormone Intelligence Therapy (HIT) Woman (or Man) is all about: Helping your body balance its own, unique set of fat melting, mood enhancing, libido boosting, and anti-aging steroid hormones and others like insulin, glucagon and IGF-1.

One way to help you achieve this is with a product known as Testostro Plus (I buy it at http://www.herbspro.com/ for about $20). Testostro Plus is the most important muscle building supplement because it uses a blend of herbs that crack our DNA code. It helps our body produce steroids regardless of any, so-called genetic predisposition to poor output and balancing. Remember, Testostero Plus is not a steroid. It simply helps creates an ideal environment within the body so that healthy hormones can function properly.

It isn’t without side effects and taking the proper dose is vital. Too much Testostro Plus and you will set the gym on fire. You’ll have smoke in your ears and a fiery attitude that screams, “Don’t even think about talking, looking or walking by me.”

I have personal experience with overdosing this supplement. Acne, irritability and hunger can set in fast. Just make sure you test this product slow and dial in your dose. I cycle this supplement too. I begin taking it 12 weeks out from a competition with one or two pills per week.

Supplement #2: Getting lean sexy muscle without bulky weight, while avoiding cancer

I never let my behemoth tub of Whey Advanced leave my side, even if it means lugging it around the airport. I use this protein powder daily and refuse to go without it. Why?

Without Whey Advanced, I feel like a used gym towel from being a Mom, wife, organic family chef, business owner and competitive athlete. It keeps my mind ultra-clear, my body “super-charged,” and wards off cravings each and every day despite having a hectic and sometime stressful schedule. It also keeps my skin glowing and vibrant. It’s my “Do It All And Feel Great” supplement.

Whey Advanced was the first supplement Shane designed. He taught me that it provides all the amino acids and proteins required by our body to repair itself. Apparently, our cells are dividing as fast as two million times per second! Naturally, if you’re exercising your ass off, this speedy replication can get even faster, especially among muscle cells.

To ensure that the process of cellular regeneration occurs efficiently and without trouble, our body requires all the amino acids and proteins that come from Whey Advanced. Otherwise, new cells can be made too fast and therefore lack a complete set of their genetic blue-print, which means that the icky word “cancer” can set in. No surprise that Shane recently found animal and human studies showing that one of the proteins in Whey Advanced - lactoferrin - prevented different types of cancer by up to 42%! (1-5)

Bottom line: Like the Egyptian pyramids were made with limestone blocks, the amino acids and proteins that come in Whey Advanced are the building blocks of a an ultra fit body.

Supplement #3: Shorten recovery times, increase endurance and get shredded

I have never taken a supplement that makes you look bigger so fast. Amped FX, as designed by Shane, guarantees that people look twice (or three times) at my shoulders and biceps when lifting. You get to experience the pump, the burn and the size all at the same time. This is serious muscle fertilizer. Naturally, I don’t go on stage in a bikini without it.

The most important part of Amped FX: It prevents me from having to “live in the gym.” It totally preserves endurance and muscle mass thanks to its ability to keep water inside the cells rather than outside. Doing so keeps ample supply of the energizing molecule ATP, which merely helps cells remain alive longer and replicate easier - along with a ton of other biochemical reasons that Shane could bore you to death on…

I am not a fan of taking pills. Fortunately, I don’t have to swallow a handful since I know exactly what to take and how to take them. I hope you can do the same, whether it’s to win figure competitions, look great in a bikini or just be ultra-fit.

About the Author

Lea-Ann is a nationally ranked figure competitor. She recently won her class at the 2009 Arnold Amateur Figure Competition and has placed 1st at all her shows to date. She is also a salon owner and co-founder of http://www.thepeopleschemist.com/ with her husband Shane Ellison, M.S. Together, they teach people of all ages how to get their best physique in 90 days. Get the free report at http://www.thepeopleschemist.com/obesity_cure.php

Four Stupid Diet Myths That Are Making You Fat

By Shane “The People’s Chemist” Ellison, M.S.

It was hard writing this article. My frustration over stupid diet myths and those who perpetuate them almost prevented me from writing cogently. But in the name of America’s gaping eye-candy deficiency, I was able to push past my frustrations to expose four stupid diet myths.

Stupid Diet Myths #1: Drink Juice

Oprah’s personal trainer Bob Greene insists that, “To curb that sweet craving, have a cup of fruit juice.” It’s no wonder his celebrity client continues to pack on the pounds at record breaking speeds: Green pushes what’s good for his sponsors (the food industry), not what’s good for your health.

Juice spikes insulin, blood sugar and our “feel good” neurotransmitters. If you don’t want to be an honorary member of The Fat Cow Hall of Fame, don’t drink it. All three of these biological effects lead to obesity and sugar addiction. This warning also goes for the “Super Fruit” juice drinks sold via the infomercial pitch that insists they are a great antioxidant. FYI: A healthy body is fully protected from free radicals thanks to the natural production of the antioxidant glutathione.

Stupid Diet Myths #2: Eat 4-6 Small Meals Per Day

Here is another way to spike insulin and get fat fast; Feed your face 4-6 times daily (graze). This myth grew from the erroneous idea that eating boosts metabolism. And it does. But after three meals per day, this metabolic effect diminishes. It’s like watering a plant all day rather than once a day. Eventually it dies. We’re not that fortunate. If we eat too often, we are forced to waddle our way through life, just like Dr. Weil; man-boobs fully intact.

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/gxdfuh1Bn9-c9AxmO7IogQ?feat=embedwebsite” target=”_blank”>
Note: Dr. Weil states, “I have never eaten a McDonald’s hamburger. I think I am one of the few Americans who can say that. However, I have, when on the road, gone into a McDonald’s to get a Coca Cola.” No doubt he is telling the truth.

Restricting feeding times to three meals per day is crucial because during the five hours between meals, the body produces anti-aging and muscle building hormones courtesy of hormone intelligence. Disrupt this timing and you produce fat inflating and age-accelerating ones - courtesy of hormone ignorance.

Grazing is for cows. If you like mimicking fat farm animals (or Dr. Weil) go for it.

Note: A select few “eat all day” advocates offset the fat building effect with an exercise addiction that takes them to the gym every day. This isn’t practical for everyone, and excess exercise wrinkles your face fast.

Stupid Diet Myth #3: Restrict Your Calories

Don’t ever diet. If you let yourself get hungry, your body will go into fat storage mode. Starvation tricks the body into thinking there’s not enough food in the world. Therefore, once you do eat something, it gets stored as unsightly belly fat. Jeans get tight. And everyone knows that carrying more junk in the trunk isn’t right. To prevent the “oh no, please don’t wear a thong” effect, never restrict calories to the point that you become wildly hungry.

This isn’t a ticket to eat whatever, whenever. Anyone who has ever eaten too many burgers understands that caloric overload does in fact fatten you up. The key here is customization. Eat your required amount of calories based on your lifestyle and goals in the form of healthy fat, protein and slow-absorbing carbohydrates - three times per day - nothing more. You can’t cheat calories, no matter how healthy your food or how blessed your metabolism.

Stupid Diet Myth #4: Don’t Eat Red Meat

Fat always gets a bad rap. Forgetting chemistry 101, cardiologists insist that all fats are bad. With sweeping generalizations, they tell us to avoid red meat due to its fat content. They fail to distinguish between the fat promoting and heart disease inducing trans-fats and the essential, saturated fats in meat.

Forgetting biochemistry, doctors fail to remember that every single cell in the human body is dependent on saturated fat; making up the cell membrane and even the lump in our skull known as the brain.

Forgetting nutrition, they also fail to remember that most vitamins require healthy, saturated fat to be absorbed by the body.

And forgetting physiology, they fail to remember that meat contains the muscle building compound known as creatine. Take home lesson: Doctors are forgetful and grass fed beef should be a major part of your diet. Abstain from trans-fat like your life depends on it.

Nobody is immune to stupid diet myths. And they are here to say, with new ones popping up every day. This is a stark reminder that marketing hype always supersedes diet logic. Let your waistline be your guide. If your fat loss efforts aren’t working, try something new. The beach awaits!

This 39 year old traffic controller shows us again the powerful effects of Hormone Intelligence Therapy. Not only did she lose fat, gain muscle and boost energy, but she also reversed the aging of her skin, warded off wrinkles and got sexy back ALL IN A MATTER OF 90 DAYS! See photos below.
“It was great to see you both at the grappling tournament on Saturday. You guys walk your talk which is very inspiring. I really appreciate your straight forward teaching as well.” I’ve always been a bit of a health nut. I was born and raised in Chicago and being healthy isn’t as important there as it is in Durango. I’ve never had weight issues before, but after dealing with some depression and doctors wanting me medicated I quickly gained fat. I’ve always been a runner and ate lots of carbs. I regained my health and after moving to Durango and trying all the wonderful restaurants was out of shape and gained 10 extra pounds. “My husband, Ben, started training at Durango Martial Arts and started taking The People’s Chemist Health FX products. So, I checked out the web site and read Shane’s story. This really inspired me. I was also a carb addict. I needed to quit the carbs and I tried a lot of things and failed. I started following The AM-PM Fat Loss Discovery Package. Lots of things changed fast!”“I was really reluctant about eating healthy fats. They contain a lot of calories. I count calories religiously but learned I had to stop. I started working out at taught. I ate a clean diet, meaning lean protein and veggies. I was still afraid of the healthy fats. Then I started with alittle almond butter. That stuffs really good. I noticed as I ate the healthy fat my desire for carbs went down so I kept doing it. I cured my addiction to carbs!”“I started out at 146.5 pounds and 33% body and changed to 131 pounds and 20% body fat in just about 12 weeks.”

“Thanks to The People’s Chemist HealthFX, the ebook and the audio CD that came with the AM-PM Fat Loss package it was all very easy to follow - Like the simple rule of getting some sun light eveyday.” “I really like the Youtube PC Reality TV stuff you guys are doing as well. I just gave a bottle of serotoninfx to my sister. I’m a big believer in that really helping overcome my carb addiction. Ofcourse, I also love the day and night time fat burners, too.”

I love the gym, the beauty industry and competition. Put all three together and you have the perfect recipe for the sport of Figure. That’s why I chose it and have been competing in it for the last year. I’ve won first in all of my shows to date, while keeping my health intact. My recent win at The Arnold Classic has taught me more lessons about health and fitness than any single certification or degree could teach. Hopefully, by passing them on to you, they’ll get you past the BS that lurks within the fitness industry.

Learned Lesson #1: Avoid BS Diet Myths

The Arnold Amateur was the most exciting competition I have done thus far. And just like all the other shows, I have noticed a scary trend: starving, dehydrated, exhausted, bitchy women (so much for being healthy) trying to look like they are healthy and having fun on stage. The culprit behind it all: The BS fitness myths that tell us to eat a bazillion times a day and use Splenda to sweeten food in place of sugar. Feeding your face all day long will play some seriously detrimental games on your metabolism, guaranteed. First and foremost, it keeps your fat storing hormone insulin high. This is great for bodybuilders on steroids who are not as sensitive to fat storage, but really bad for the rest of us.

Eating four to six times per day simply forces us to go to the gym more often to avoid the fat gaining side effects. This leaves us exhausted and sometimes delirious. To feel and look great, you only need three quality meals per day, just make sure they are not served from a box, window or package.

Splenda is nothing more than a drug disguised as a sweetener. Are you kidding me? I thought you had to have a prescription from a doctor to eat drugs? Seriously though, it’s well known that Splenda is a wild-card that can cause numerous side effects, just like any other drug. And the headlines are clear: The artificial sweetener disrupts our brains ability to count calories, therefore leaving us feeling hungrier (bitchier) than we really are. Not cool for any athlete.

Learned Lesson #2: Never Deprive Yourself Of Sleep

Moms do it ALL right? I do. My competition schedule goes like this: Up at 5:30 am and to the gym at 6:00. Home at 7:45 to make breakfast for family, clean up, make lunches and send kids to school. Shower at 9:00 work at 10:00. Home at 5:00 pm, make dinner (maybe it’s my husbands night and we grab healthy food out) clean up, family time till 8:00 and kids to bed at 8:30pm. Shane and I hang out, take our nightly SerotoninFX to “sleep like drunken bums naturally,” and since he needs his beauty sleep too its bed by 9:30pm, no exceptions. Repeat! The only reason I can proactively dictate my own busy schedule is because I never deprive myself of sleep. And my physique benefits thanks to the subsequent release of human growth hormone during the resting hours. In total, inadequate sleep means I can’t keep up with myself or get the benefits of working my ass off at the gym.

Learned Lesson #3: Be Dirty

I’m the only dirty girl I know…I eat whole (not a sliver) avocados, coconut oil, whole eggs, peanut butter, real butter, seeds, nuts, real meat not lean meat, cheese, and all of these so called “dirty foods” that most people avoid. Meanwhile, the rest of the competition is eating whole grains, egg whites, rice and sugar laden sport bars.

The health gurus I crossed paths with would peak at my diet and insult me with statements like, “You can’t win with a dirty diet like that.” Well guess what? If that’s being dirty, then I’m a dirty girl.

I love fats. I THRIVE on them and I win competitions on them. My skin glows, my belly is full and I look younger now than I did 5 years ago.

Avoiding fat makes you age really fast, making you look old and wrinkly beyond your years. Fat helps the body absorb essential micronutrients which keep your skin glowing, metabolism boosted and muscles pumped - thanks to Hormone Intelligence Therapy that accompanies fat intake. My diet consists of 50% healthy fats.

More important than winning any athletic event is being healthy. Health should never be sacrificed. Yet, this has become the norm in many sports courtesy of sham marketing and self proclaimed health gurus who can’t tell the difference between science and marketing. Be wary. Watch out. And always go for the win, but keep your health intact.

Number one don’t eat fast food. I would be mortified if someone saw me in a McDonalds. That alone keeps me from ordering my food from a talking box and picking it up through a window.

Number two avoid monosodium glutamate (MSG). This is a nasty unnatural dangerous chemical used as a flavor enhancer. Basically, it’s designed by evil chemists to make tasteless food addicting. Big profit for someone right? At the same time, my husband teaches that it also interrupt’s your body’s natural hormonal intelligence by screwing with insulin levels and making the fat storing hormone surge. The outcome over time is diabetes.

My number three ingredient to avoid is high fructose corn syrup. This stuff will make your kids fat. Really fat. It is an altered sugar that is not natural as its manufacturers claim. It’s found in so many products you may even be fooled by the “All Natural” labels.

Avoiding these three poisons will put your children on the fast track to a happy healthy childhood!
