Gym Closed

LOL…I’m having a very busy week(due to the shopping season)but I booked time for my workout and actually stickin’ to it. This morning when I made it to the gym I find it closed due to plumbing problems…..SUCKS…..How are your pipes???? So I went home, did a quick ab workout….no run today, it’s to cold (-14c) and dark out(to much snow and ice for the dark), so I will count my power walk with the dog at lunch break today(I usually don’t). Try again tomorrow.

in the gym again. I ended up having to take an addition week for recovery (better safe then sorry). Now I have finished my 3rd workout this week (so far) and I love how I feel afters. HAPPY…relaxed, calm, life is easy… The only thing that is bothering me is that I had to reduce my lifting by 30% …I want to lift heavy…but I know, I know. Life is good so I say SMILE.

being me. I know bad girl….but I just had a week off, had a mini holiday(it was wonderful and I did lots of walking). I woke up on Sunday with a sore shoulder(I thought at the time that I had slept funny on it). The shoulder just kept getting more sore to extreme pain. So off to the doctor’s I go. I had 2 dislocated ribs. I’m getting better now but I’m not to do any lifting until Monday. The bright spot is no housework also. LOL.

Housework=Workout???

What do you think???? I woke this morning looking forward to my next workout at the gym today. I had breakfast and then I started to clean the kitchen then I noticed that my house needed that "extra" clean. So for the next 3 1/2 hours I stretched(cleaning walls), climbed stairs, lifted odd objects, moved furniture and engaged my core(especially when scrubbing the floor and my hands and kneees). When I was done I noticed that I was all sweaty. So did I workout??? My house looks good and I do plan to be at the gym tomorrow. I also feel like I do after an extra hard workout from the gym tonight. Personally I think it was a day for something different and it worked for me!

My last blog I was so busy that I hadn’t been find ing the time to workout. I was just to busy. Well it got to me…I got the flu! Now 3 weeks later I just getting back into the gym. My workout today had no energy but day one back tomorrow  day two. My weight hasn’t changed much (clean eating) but I feel soft. Things will only get better from here!!! The workout today…

Medicine Ball diagonal wood chop 3kg 3/12

DD lunge with press 5lb 2/16

Deadlift w/row 10lb(2) 2/12

Push ups 2/8

Warm Up walk 5 min

Run 5 min

Cool down 2 min.

Stretching 5 min.   and very tried!

So busy…

I’ve been so busy traveling up and down the highway this week that I’m seeing the center line when I close my eyes. The worst part is that I’m not finding the time for any workout time. I can feel my hips getting wider from all the sitting I’m doing. I did find time to walk 1.5 miles today. I was already so tried but I’m glad I did it. I just finished organizing my schedule for next week and I booked myself 3 one hour blocks to make it to the gym. I just hope nothing comes up because I’m at the point that I’m NOT going to reschedule my workouts. Famous last works…but I have to remember that if I don’t take care of myself no one else will. Yes, I’m a mother, wife and business owner I like to do it all. LOL

2 days in a row for the gym (and my last by the looks of it for the week). Sometimes life gets to busy…next week looks like things will slow down, lol. So hear is my day…

Warm up treadmill

Cable Kickbacks 25lb 3/12

Reverse Lunges 15lbsx 2  3/12

Calf raises 15lbs x 2   3/12

Smith Squats 50lb  3/12

Obliq. Crunches 3×2/12

Cardio walk run 28 minutes…1.81 miles

Stretching.     Loved the workout…I’m a little sore and I broke out in a good sweat.  It is a sweet day.

Yesterday was another walking 2 miles.

Today was in the gym :-) So this is what I did

Overhead Press 20lbs 3/12

Incline flye 10lbs 3/12

Incline press 10 lbs 3/12

Dec flye 30lbs 3/12

Roman Chair 3/12

Swiss Ball crunches 3/12

3 min warm up

30 min cardio walking

Stregthing

Sept. 6 and 7

I’m a little sore from yesterday. Today is just cardio since I did a full body workout yesterday.

52 minutes on the treadmill for a total of 2.29 miles (walk)

Also, walked the kids from school 2 miles total

 

Sept. 7

Walked kids to school (part way) 1.5 miles.  All I can get in today due to my business schedule.

Long summer, toe is still tender…I’m getting back into it.The workout for this day was

3 x 12reps for each of the following…

Squats 70 lbs

Bench press 30lbs

Lunges 30lbs

Pull Ups (assisted) 80 lbs

Good Mornings 30lbs

Bench Dips (B.W.)

Deadlifts 40lbs

Ez bar curls (E.B.)

Swiss ball crunches

21min cardio ellip. machine

stregthing
