WOW!

Well it been a while since I’ve been on BB.com, and just as long since I’ve been in the gym Life has taken twist and turns for me in the past 6 months. And now I’m realizing the only true outlet I should be having is the gym. I’ve gained weight, not the that much, but still the opposite direction of what I initially wanted. I have very little motiviation, but tomorrow I will start again and see how I do. The picsw of what i look like now will come soon. Crossin my fingers and hoping to get my love for the gym back in me!!!

Back in it

Well after the rotator cuff got jacked up had to take some time off on upper body…my right arm is mad weak! But i’m down to to 147, which leaves me with 12 more pounds to loose!Feels good just to say that. The shoulder is still bothering me, but not nearly as bad as it use to. I’m lifting lighter to make sure not to hurt it.  My cardio isn’t going as planned, but I’m doing it. I don’t care to run on the treadmill, i prefer to run out side, which is hard with my 3 kids… but I’m gettin in there and more consistent!

OMG!!! I have strained my rotator cuff! This is a huge let down!! I’m very limited on my work outs. I can’t do any upper body work out. I can say the positive side is that it has made me increase my cardio drastically! i work on my legs more frequently. But just to move my arm back is a killer. Some days the shoulder is good, but for the most part….hurts!I’m hoping it heels fast, my upper body is the weakest part of my whole buddy! I can’t afford to loose the lttle bit of definition.  We’ll see what  happens by the time I get home!!

Well, the new pics are up and I have to say, i’m not disappointed. I took the last week off from the gym and I still think i did good. The only thing I don’t like is how my tummy looks. But that’s small stuff, I can tighten it up with cardio, more ab work outs, and more discipline on my diet!!! But looking at how far I’ve come since January, makes me feel better about myself. I have a little over 2 months before I get to the family, and I promised my girls I would come home with a tan, and a flat stomach…so I have to stick to my word. My oldest daughter , who is only 7, already has a six pack! She loves to work out. She’ll put on the pilated DVD and call me so we can work it out…She definitely my motivation!!!

Strugglin’

I started noticing that my left arm is bigger than my right arm. Not sure what I need to do to even them out. I figured since I’m right that my left arm would be the weaker one. I got me a work out partner who is in there consistently, so hopfully it will help. I’ve been sick too for about 2 weeks and still went to the gym. But I’m starting to get bored. I picked up playin ball to kind of break the routine. But I really think that I’m getting stuck in rut. I go now to make sure I’m in there, but I don’t push my self as hard as need to be. I help 2-3 other females I work with and that takes a lot away from what I’m tryin to do in the gym. I think I’m going to have to cut them off. One of them really needs my help so I might just stick with her. But I dont’ like being in the gym and not sweat. I don’t know…some advice from anyone would really help. Any work out ideas would be great too….

So been deployed for a month…didn’t think I was gonna make it in the gym this consistently. But I’ve been doing good, real good! I figured that I wouldn’t be sore any more, but I keep challenging myself with lifting just a little bit more weight or doing a few more reps. I’m tryin to bring out my biceps…they making in out. I feel the muscle more than see it, so patience is all I need. The gym on base consist of 98% guys, so going in there at times can be intimidating. But I keep my iPOD on blast walk in and do what I need to do. They don’t bother me except to say hi. Other than that, I do what I need to do, help some friends out and press on. Give me about another month and my arms will be sexy!
