I was actually shocked last night when Matt Hughes admitted on camera that GSP was a better fighter! He was once again dominated by GSP. I can not wait until the re-match he gets with Serra. I believe his loss to Serra was a fluke mostly because GSP was reported having food poisoning like sickness and was very dehydrated during the fight. You could see on his face he wasn’t feeling good for the fight. Next time, I know it will be different. GSP is one of the most talented fighters today! He was actually training with the Canadian Olympic wrestling team getting ready for the Olympic Trials but gave that up to fight Hughes again. That right there is very impressive to me. Another shock for me was Chuck Liddell. He did a very good job against Silva. Who knows, maybe he will once again be the light heavyweight champ!

Let me tell you, I am feeling a little behind on my workouts because of the holidays! Today I tried to play catch-up! I started off with quads and followed that up with some calves. Then it was off to biceps and triceps. Since I was moving at a fast pace, I kept rest down to 20-30 seconds between sets but that doesn’t mean I lifted light…oh no! I pushed as much as I could as much as I could! So much so that when I started doing bicep curls, I had to take a quick break to hurl in the bathroom!! When I was leaving the gym, I kind of smiled and thought to myself,"I am out of freaking shape!". I got a pretty good workout in today but it was also at the expense of fully working my quads. I guess the short rest periods were a bit too much for a fat guy like me Anyway, Happy New Year! Ohh…and a special congrats to GeminiJedi and trixter on their wedding! Best of luck to you both!!!

We are back in town now. I managed to make it to the gym only once while in Ohio. It was pretty funny cause one of the guys was looking around asking his fellow lifter where all the people came from. All the people he was talking about was me, my father in law, and my sister in law. He wasn’t used to such a crowd!! LOL!!! I am going tomorrow morning to hit my chest. I hit back pretty good while in Ohio so I guess Friday I will hit some legs!! WooHoo! I was pretty odd having mid fifty degree temperatures at Christmas. We ended up taking my son to the park! Tell me this isn’t ironic. My brother in law asked me to bring my PS3 to Ohio so he could play it. I didn’t because I didn’t want it to get broken. Well, when we got home, my son pulled it off the entertainment center and it is now…well….broken! I was so mad but I couldn’t stay mad at him long cause the look on his face made me feel bad. He knew he did something bad. It does suck very badly because that’s what I do when i am by myself and can’t sleep! I emailed Sony asking what I should do. It is still under warranty but my son dropping it isn’t a manufacturers defect either! I hope everybody out there had a great and safe Christmas. Happy New Year!!!

Well, after work tonight we are heading to BryanGee territory to see the in-laws! Hey, Bill may even be close to there! Sydney, Ohio? Anyway, I skipped the workout again last night. I know, I know…Shame, shame! I needed some sleep because I am not getting any tonight. After work when I come home we are leaving. I should be able to get a nap in once we are there though. Ohh, and don’t fret, I already checked out the area. There is a gym a few miles away so I can deadlift there! Thought I would skip back?! You gotta be kiddin me! We will be home the night of the 26th! LOL!!! My son just came running out of the closet with Sara’s purse saying,"Bye bye everybody. I am going to Wal Mart!" HaHaHaHa!!! I guess i should break the news to him that purses are for girls! He is now in the kitchen cabinets "driving" my car to Wal Mart! Merry Christmas everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HaHa!! That’s a corny freaking title huh? Normally I wouldn’t group that many muscles in one workout but since I missed yesterday (due to my lack of hard core muthaness) I am trying to make up for lost time. I still have a sinus infection so it makes it hard to have short rest periods between sets but at least I made it to the gym. I am excited for next weekend. We are having a small party on the 29th for a pay per view fight. We are having other married couples and their kids over. It should be pretty awesome. I figured this way my wife could meet some other mothers in the area and still be able to socialize. Me set up toys and movies for the kids to watch and we have some extra mattresses set up for when they get sleepy! You know, pizza, beer, some MMA….It’s all good! One of the guys coming over is a guy I work out with on occasion so maybe his and my wife could work out together some time. He told me today they don’t get to get out any more so I figured what better way to entertain than invite parents and their kids huh? Anyway, long day! Good night!

I am freaking sick with a baby crying in my ear! This sucks. In short, I am not a hard core mutha like Pixi so I skipped the gym last night. Hopefully I will pull through tonight and be able to make it. If I continue to feel like this, It’s no gym

I finally got my workout in today. I focused more on higher reps today than weight. I believe variety is key is maximum muscle growth! Started out with squats. I kept my reps between 10-15. Followed it up with hack squats (narrow stance) reps also in 10-15 rep range. I took a small break from quads and hit calves. Did 3×40 with 300lbs! It burned! I then finished my quads off with leg extensions. I typically hit hams when I do deadlifts for back so I am going to do leg curls on back day and see how that works out.

2. Anderson Silva - seemingly unstoppable
3. GSP - One of the best fighters of all time and my favorite! His loss to Serra? He was sick and lost, that’s it!
4. Rampage Jackson - Doing very well in his new home!
5. Wanderlei Silva - Going to beat Chuck Liddell’s *ss unless Chuck gets into some AA and gets his life together!
6. Dan Henderson - Still a strong force
7. Antonio Noguiera
8. BJ Penn - One of the most talented fighters out there. Just needs conditioning! Every round that goes by, his chances of winning slips away!
9. Gabrielle Gonzaga - If there was a ring and no cage, Couture would have been KO’d! That is why Couture is not on my list!
10. Takanori Gomi - Also one of the best fighter out there. I would love to see Gomi versus GSP!!!

Nothing going on here lately. Went to see the family today and show off the new addition! Didn’t make it to the gym on leg night. Feeling a little bumbed over that but I will make it up. Having another baby/child in the house really cuts into sleep time! I plan on having my wife blow the dirt off the camera and taking a few pics for me tomorrow. Hopefully I look better now than I did in oct/nov! This is funny, I had a hearing test at work last week and they weigh you and take your blood pressure for records sake. I was 200 pounds on the scale! Mostly water weight and the fact I needed to crap probably didn’t help! LOL!! The nurse was pretty fat. She told me for my height, I was considered over weight/obese! I started laughing: 1) She was fat 2) I am not fat 3) That chart is stupid! I asked her how many obese people she knew with 10% body fat. She thought about it for a second and said,"Just you!" HaHaHa!!!

Aint nothing like a good shoulder workout. Maybe me and Pixi will be swinging at the cupboards tomorrow trying to get a cup down for our protein shakes. Wait a minute, how do you stir with this soreness? Thats where we differ! "Logan, you want to shake daddy’s protein?" "YEAH!!!" Cries the little voice from the other room. We make a game out of it. I had to work out alone tonight but I still had a productive workout. I really concentrated in middle and rear delts using cables to isolate the heads differently. Good stuff! I could not do my rest paused 3×3 though Looking forward to legs tomorrow! I am glad we don’t live on a third floor apartment anymore!! Anyone looking for a gym slut as a partner? I need somebody with a stuffy nose and bad hearing to spot me tomorrow!! LOL!!!
