FAILURE!!!!

This is only my 4th blog or so but I feel I need to get this out.  Failing at something you have worked your ass off to achieve has to be one of the most disappointing feelings ever.  The only worse feeling is that one you get when a number of people put time and effort into helping you achieve that goal and you let them down as well.  If you don’t get it yet, I am speaking from my experience today.  That’s it.  I’m out.

You’re right, it is disappointing. What’s worse is when you fall off your horse and stay there. Get back up on that horse!!! NEVER give up on yourself. Whatever it was, get after it again!

You are so right, all the effort you put in training can go right out the window with one well placed right hand.

Give yourself an allotted amount of time (depending on the severity of what happened) to mope and feel sorry for yourself, and then sit down, form a game plan, and get back out there and try something different! Take charge! Tell the others that "well, this didn’t work, but here’s what we learned and let’s try it this way…"

Failure is a good thing- it makes you grow stronger, learn faster, and do things better in teh future…it’s also something bodybuilder’s aspire to in the gym (failure…lifting weights…bad joke… ;-) )

Seriously, though- no regrets. Everything you have done in life, both good and bad, has gotten you to where you are today. And looking at your profile- that aint a bad place to be!
