Just when i thought everything was going so well a accident a work took me out for a while.I had a fall at work and hit my head on the floor giving me a grade 1 concussion and 2 herinated disks in my neck. Looking at a computer was impossiable because of the migraines and my life was a living hell for about 2 months.I’m finally about to have a cervical epidural tommorow and im hoping for the best.I’ve managed some how to gain back the few pound’s i lost because of the meds i am on and i have’nt put on any additional fat thanks to all of the studying i had been doing for my ACE certification. I really pray this epidural put’s me back on track. Life just isn’t the same after training so hard for over 2 year’s and suddenly i can’t do any training at all. Keep me in your prayers.

I may have to see a doctor about my knee.I had a broken femur bone on my right leg about 9 yrs ago and now as i train my leg’s i notice a pain in the location of the inside of my knee. There is also a small protrusion of what appears to be a bone.I hate to think that this something so serious that it could keep me from developing my legs to the point where i could compete oneday.I wrap my knee as i do sqauts or the leg press, but i stiil find myself having pain when i train my legs. Why? The only reason i can come up with is they had to go through my knee during the surgery to put a rod in my femur. I will not give up my dream.

I am helping my wife with her exercise routine. But i suggested she do calf raise’s as part of her leg routine. She say’s that they make her arch hurt afterward’s.So the question I’m putting out there is this? Are they good to help strengthen her arch, or is calf raise’s an exercise she should’nt be doing.I would appreciate any wisdom from some one who know’s more about this than I do.
