Not gaining weight
I’ve been trying to gain weight for 3 months now and have had absolutely no success. My goal was to reach 150, I’ve been holding at 138 for awhile now. I have a feeling that unless I drastically change my diet I will never come close to 150. But that is ok, I’ve decided I will focus on my workout, keep my BF down around 10 -12 and let nature takes it course.
Now that hard part, Warm weather has arrived in Ohio so my cardio is going to spike. I enjoy running and being outside. I usually run during my lunch hour, that means to get my lifting in I will have to try to squeeze them in at night. This doesn’t sound that bad but, now that the weather is breaking I play tennis a couple of times a week with the wife. Cardio, cardio, cardio. Lots of cardio is in my future
I plan on staying really focused though, keep lifting and working on developing my physique; I like the gains I have made and I don’t want to lose them. Lately I seem to get noticed a little bit more when I’m out in public……

You are going to need to take in a good amount of calories to add weight and cut back on the cardio.1 pound is equal to 3500 cal thats 500 a day above maintenance. Its hard to stay lean while adding muscle because one takes a decrease in cal and the other an increase.Genectics play a part also in the amount of muscle one can put on.Stay positive and consisitent you look great for your age.

How about your Protein intake. Are you drinking Whey shakes, eating boneless skinless chicken breasts, tuna, egg whites, etc. Add more meals to your diet also.
