This was a hard weekend to get my workout in. Yesterday I got to the rec kind of late. I walked with the wife for 2 miles then started my chest/back workout…and low and behold just as I’m getting started they announce that the rec center was closing. So I got a 1/4 lift in. On Sundays I go to a different rec center to run, they have a smaller track but the place is set up better. The one close to my house has the basketball/volleyball/whatever courts surrounded by the track. You have constant traffic crossing the track to get to the courts. And a lot of times parents (who should be working out) are standing around on the track talking.
Well I get to the other rec center and the track is closed! So I finished my back and chest workout and just as I did the last set a friend of mine appeared (the same one that I worked out with on Friday) her and I then did 30 minutes on an elipitical. Not as fun as running but the company was nice.
