Ok cardio day, ran 3 miles at lunch. Walked 2 with the wife this evening. She is contemplating doing the 3 days 60 mile walk for breast cancer. So I’m going to help her get ready for it.
Tomorrow is sprint day, I like those, great workout. The gym at work had a slight water problem….the sprinklers went off and soaked the place. They won’t have any classes this week, that sucks, there is a conditioning class that works the hell out of me. I’m going to miss that this week.
Might try to talk my son in to rock climbing this weekend. He does it no problem but I get a good work out trying to make it up the walls.

Been bad, haven’t had a good work out in since last Wednesday. I think I need a break though, it felt good to be a bum for 4 days. I feel a bit revitalized.

Rough but good cardio workout today. Ran at the rec center with two friends. We would run 1 3/4 lap at 90 second pace, then jog 1 1/4 lap at 90 second pace. Did this 9 times then did a 2 lap cool down. Worked out to around 4.4 miles. Finished 6 hours ago and I’m feeling it now. Legs ok, just feeling worn out, but a good worn out.
Tomorrow is my Abs/Arms/Legs.

Cold day here, ran for 2 miles on a treadmill before doing my work class. I HATE TREADMILLS!!! Boring! Boring! Boring! The only thing worse is an elipitical. Work out was good besides that. I do have a slight pain in my left shoulder though. Might need to ice it some tonight. I plugged the workout into the workout tracker. I’ll have to see how displined I am on that. I have a tendency to keep really notes on what I do….for about a week. Then I get lazy and stop recording what I do. My son got my a running calender that is used to track my runs for the year. So far I only have 2 entrys. Not starting off very good.
Playing tennis tomorrow and try to get some cardio in on Sunday. Wish it was nice out, I’d like to go for a 10 mile run, but it is January in Ohio…..that means cold and snow.

Not gaining any weight, which I guess is a good thing, but I’m hoping I’m making gains, it is hard to tell since I see myself everyday. Trying to eat much better, kind of hard to do since we just bought 1/2 pig, lots of bacon in the freezer right now. I was having too Mic Ultras a night, because it is "healthy" but decide that is just empty calories and carbs so I cut that out.

the bedtime snack from yesterday messed with me a bit. I had dreams about parasitic aliens, demons in my attic and a magic cane! Very weird.
Today was good did a chest and back workout and then talked the wife into playing tennis. I rented a court at the local rec center. We played for an hour, this is really good, my wife is not much for exercising and it shows. This is a good step in the right direction!

Happy New Year!
New Year’s Eve was good, a friend emailed me and said she was going to be working out in the afternoon. I joined her, she did cardio but I lifted, got my chest and a little back in. Last night had way too much to drink, didn’t get out of bed till about 8:30. Feel good now and if it was warmer I’d head out for a run, but as of right now I don’t feel like going out in the cold.
Going to take a nice easy day to start the New Year.
