Coffee…good or bad? Comments appreciated.
Okay, so I have been doing great on my diet, eating extremely clean, drinking water, green tea, and now yerba mate. Occasionally, maybe 3 mornings a week, I have had a morning coffee. I use low-fat milk and splenda (no sugar) in my coffee. Is this going to hurt my diet, or help it? It seems to act as an appetite supressant, which suprisingly enough really helps me by the end of the day. (It pushes all of my meals back an hour or two, so I’m not hungry when 10pm rolls around)
So I guess I’m asking the experts, am I screwing myself by drinking the coffee? If so, I need to know! I appreciate any feedback on this matter. I’ve been really dedicated to the diet and cardio, so I don’t want something as small as coffee to throw a wrench into my program…

I think tea has more caffeine in it then coffee. It is not like you are getting a lot of calories from the coffee, only the milk. I would say you are fine, but I would fully understand if you didn’t want the advice of a 270+ fat ass

I drink coffee every morning. sometimes at night when i’m reading i’ll brew a cup. during times when i’ve lost weight - or just maintained - the coffee hasn’t made a different. all i know is that it makes me feel good! oh yea.
i also drink too much diet coke through the day. i need to drink more water.

Coffee great according to a recent M&F acticle, coffe gets bad when you whip it up with milk sugar and flavorings.
