When was someone going to tell me…running sucks!

Okay, so I’m fresh off of my first run. I somehow managed to choke out two hard earned miles, but it was MUCH harder than I thought it would be! No matter, I’ll be on the road again tomorrow for another 2 miles. (But I think I’ll continue to run past the graveyard, just for the sake of convenience should I drop dead.)

Oooh, I hate running too. SO much! But it certawinly does the trick! My goal for this month is 2 miles per day, 4 days per week. Keep at it. Running is the only part of this whole ordeal that requires serious discipline on my part. Hate every blessed second of it.
Oh, btw…your pregnant wife is darling. Congratulations!

I gave up and bought an eliptical. Too much knee pain from old football injuries. I also pulled some hip flexors and couldn’t walk without crying for a week! Best shoes, clothes, area to run, nothing helped. My ortho sports med MD said he would personally shoot me if I ever ran again. My body told me he was right. This was AFTER I had been running regularly 5 miles 5 times a week!

i can’t stand running. the only way i can get through it is to have some excellent music playing, and playing loudly. when i have great music, i can run 7 miles at a decent pace. otherwise, it’s a mile and i quit. keep it up! just get some kind of music playing device!
