How do you deal with temptations?

I and others like me need help from you lean people. How do you guys deal with junk food temptations? Do you talk mentally to the vending machine your evil, i can beat you? All please tell me your ways of dealing with this demon?

 And be honest no matter how stupid it sounds..

calorie intake mind blunder

Okay so im confused. Ive been told to eat around 2100 calories for a person whom dose about 20 minuets of activity a day or 30 minuets a day 3 times a week! Then they say if you want to lose weight deduct 500 from that which is 1600.

So all this week ive been doing so a total of 8 days i would say. But NOTHING NOTTA NOT one freaking pound have I lost?? But when I drop it down to 1200 calories i lose 2-3 pounds a week? My activity level is at least one hour of working out a day and some times i add in additional 30-40 minuets cardio. My work i walk alot. Now my guess is that my body has a slower metabolic rate than others is that possible? Right now im going back to 1200 calories no more than 1500 calories a day if i slip up. Im working out 6 days a week saturdays is light like house work.

My Protein goals is 100-140g per day and trying to keep carbs low to to the natural from veggies ect. Ive been eatting small salads with balsalmic venigar ect.. and olive oil the spray kind.. and protein shakes. See i calculated that if i lose 1-2 pounds per week i could actually make it on stage in a year… so my question is of my calorie intake is it possible i need less calories than reccomended? and I am right by keeping 1200-1500?

Okay so im doing the lean segment of this 3 month journey. Today I started off with Core syntergetics i think is how you spell or say it. Im impressed and a little more phyched on the whole thing!! I sweated like i never have before in my living room and immediatly went and got 2 dumbells just 10lbs for now.. I really want to hit the rep rang you know. My diet in on point, perfect and proud. I almost slipped just a while ago cause of the dange vending machines. Im making it a point to only eat sweets on the weekends and NOT GO CRAZY!!! Eatting like a Fitness + Figure girl = PIG in the unfamilure..

Okay soooooo Youve herd about my work out with my trainer at gold on this passed thursday? We did Centuries (refer to last blog) Now Today is Sunday and Im just barely able to walk NORMAL or with out assisting my self to sit down and get up off the toilet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I walk down the hall way and my knees just buckle from my quads beings so weak.. I go up and down stairs supporting each step with my upper body… ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate this due to this I have been out of the gym for 2 days that I wanted to be in Fri and Sat… So Tomarrow I should be square enough to do light cardio I pray and hope!!! Then I can start training P90X!!! Now I got my order in from Bodybuilding.com and I was sooo impressed!!! I orderd my stuff Thursday morning around midnight. Then it hit my door step Friday Morning awsome awsome awsome.. I got the STax system and what it is totally worth the money. It really helps me with my portions, and timming of each meals, this also keeps it cooler than any lunch box ive ever had and its big enough to carry foods for allllll dayyyyy leaving no room  for slips up and IM SOOO PROUD OF MY SELF. I KNOW IM EATTING LIKE A FITNESS/ FIGURE GIRL CAUSE PEOPLE ARE ASKING QUESTIONS AND SAYING ITS WAY TO MUCH CAUSE OF THE EVERY 3 HOURS LOL LOL LOVE IT!!! I carry my bibles around Oxygen and Muscle Fitness Hers, lol ect.. I totally totally on point with eatting and motivation and soon to be work outs cause of muscle sorness delays…. keep and eye on me and ill do the same

OMG OMG im going to die, my trainer litterally killed my legs.

I did 100 reps of each exercise with no longer than 10 sec rest between FAILURES..

lunges, body weight squats, leg extensions, leg seated curls, mule kick butt machine, step ups, shoulder press, incline chest press, wide grip lat pull downs.

wow oh wow it was intense BUT I LOVED IT and my trainer kept pushing me thats what i need in life lol EATTING IN ON POINT TO THE "T" AND IM TOO PROUD OF MY SELF…..

I see a change and fell it too!

K Ive been eatting clean this wholeee week just on my own. Ive noticed that I eat clean effortlessly when  I pack my food. I know Ive said this before but when u see things reacure with the same actions it clicks even better. Also the multi small meals has been on point also… Im going to buy the stax system lunch kit today also to make sure the portions are perfect and the timming is as well. Now for the I see and feel of changes well, Ive dropped the bloatting already, useing the restroom regularly also… I also dropped 5 pounds, water i guess.. But Im soooooo feeling this and it is motivating me even more… Today I have a appointment with my personal trainer at Golds its my last work out with him… Then I start my P90x routiens….. Keep in touch I plan on to hit 200 pounds by the end of this month or my birth day weekend of march 26th.. Miss flexgr

Back from ohio!

Okay so im back from Ohio and the Arnold Sport Fest.  It was awsome and exactly what Ive needed all this time! Im on point diet wise and working out also.. I have a 12 hour shift today but IM NOT GOING TO SKIP ON ON MY WORK OUT Im doing a P90X routein tonight after work around 12 midnight.. So Ill be posting up progress pics sooner than later stand by okay?

Ookay peeps I hit the road with my buddy tomarrow from Wasginton DC to go home in Ohio, Ill be making pit stops to see my mom and uncle and niece and enjoy our fave dinner meeting place Olive Garden!!! My neice is going with me and my friend to the arnold im trying to imprint her young 13 yrs  with fitness.. I just dont want her to dress like the ho’s up in there lol lol Cnat wait all BBer’s that wanna meet up private message me and we can exchange #’s

Got a ZUNE MP3 PLAYER

OKAY so ive been debating this a long time between a zune and rhapsody player. For the fact that im tired of IPOD, you have to either pirate mp3s or buy each song at 99 cents or buy a whole CD.. Incase you didnt know January of 2009 In the us ALL iNTERNET service provides started filtering their customers for who is downloading illegal songs like on limewire and when found out your service can be slowed down or cancelled completly!! mY SERVICE was slowed down…. So i WENT WITH THE ZUNE. I just bought it, pluse the arm band, and car kit. I got the initial 14 dail trial and downloaded mad crazy amounts of songs worry free of viruses and spending more money cause we all know vivid gym goers CAN NOT LISTEN TO THE SAME PLAY LIST FOR SO LONG.. Now im working on a new gym work out list and getting even more pumped. to work out and go running… So also im listing my ipod nano 3rd and shuffle to ebay….

Reflection to my self and goals..

As you should know ive been on midnight shift since I got here 7 months ago.. Durring that time Ive went down 4 belt loop notches and down about 15-20 pounds give or take I know Ive should have lost a whole lot more but I know my problem was this midnight shift, I could never get used to it and I was allways tired regardless of what I would do. Then I would hit a peak of working and eatting right for about 2 weeks. Then the sleep monster would kick in high gear again.. No a turnning point, today marks the first day of me being permenant evening shift that meaning I get off at 1130 every night. there will still be some days i gotta do mids to help out with lack of personell but one every two weeks or so.. Now Im so excited for this shift change cause this is the shift I am used to and did when I was my healthiest I would Get up in the morning and go straight to my work out and come home shower and eat my clean foods and protein shake, and then get ready for work… PERFECT ROUTIEN… Thats my plan to start up again. Another thing I have the P90X Im going to start once I come back from home/ ohio and seeing the Arnold. The show also adds to my motivation 3 days of admiring my role modles in the real and taking more pics to show how much ive changed since the last arnold… This weekend will be my 3rd weekend in a row. I swear by these for motivation, after this show im motivated for at least a steady hard 6 months…. Its just ful to my fire and I think it is the reason Ive came as far as I have so far.. Down a total of like 53 pounds…. So new shift, new motivation, new work out plan…. = New Healthy Me….. See you guys on the flip side of after the Arnold
