HELP need new training styles

Okay im a beast in the weight room, i know just about any exercise there. I lift way heavier than the average fem. But Im not liking whats happening to my body my shoulders are way way to broad, I weight to much but dont look what I weight by far, so Im left unhappy with my training. I want to really start more sports like training, like burpies, mountain climbers, and so on. Not to mention my running and push ups and sit ups ect….. If there is any videos out there where i can copy down the routein you have for me as suggestions please send them my way…..

 

My 5k race listings

Okay so Ive always wanted to do a race like a 5k or something. But where I have been previously there wasnt any good races around, so now here in Washington DC there is tons of races all year round. I picked out my first two and my ultimate goal. Here goes

April 2009 The race to end the silence of child abuse. (Untimed and unlimited self paced and distance is according to your comfort)

May 2009 The Police Week 5k, supports fallen police officers and their families.(this one is timed and measured 5k)

October 2009 my year ending goal run is the Army 10 Miler (Always measured and timed, its a HOOAH thing) GO ARMY! GRRRRRRRRRR

Ive been training on the tread mil a lot lately and alreayd see improvments in my speed due to the recent 10 pound weight loss, I can only imagine how much better Ill run as more fatty goo melts off this muscled up frame of mine! Im not wanting to be a famous runner or nothing just want to complete them in a decent timely manner and with in my PT test requirements at the least and use it as motivation… Ill be starting to run out side after all this snow and ice melts…..

5th notch and no more wilted lettuce!

Okay weird title I know, but theres a reason. First off who is with me on buying lettuce and sick and tired of it being wilted in like 2 days? Yeah Im too. Well I found out a solution, Get your lettuce cut it up the way you like it put it in a gallon zip lock baggy and add a splash of cold water to it not to much maybe like 4 ounces thats it!!!!!!!! Trust me it works like a gem!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let me know what u think. Now for the good news! Today at work i went to the last belt notch the 5th one!!! When I first started here I was on the second one out of five now im on the last one!!!!!!!!! Holly crap what a eye opener, Im going to keep adding notches and seeee what the ultimate ending is like…..
