Round 2- Preparing for my 2nd Competition
Well today marks 14 weeks out from my 2nd figure competition. I’m feeling more confident about doing this for the second time, but I feel like my body is in the worst shape of it’s life! After my first competition last September, I went a little crazy with food and lazy with my workouts. Since last September I’ve gained almost 30 lbs! My body typically bounes back pretty quick, and when it comes to me it’s all about the diet- I have a love/hate relationship with sweets! This time around I’m really focusing on changing my lifestyle and take more proactive measures to make sure I don’t gain a bunch of weight after the competition- but that’s a ways off
I’m starting 14 weeks out to help lose some of the extra weight, here’s my diet and workout plan for the next 2 weeks:
Protein 150g
Carbs 120g
Fat 40g
30X3 days of cardio
4 day split of lifting
As far as limiting foods, I’m going to eat clean but still allow myself to eat fruit and have diet soda (as long as I get my water in too!) Diet soda is tough for me to quit!
My current weight is 143lbs

Hey Rebecca, I know exactly how you feel - I am in the same boat as you. After my first competition I also was so caught up in "celebrating" that I gained a lot of weight back and felt like I was in the worst shape of my life. I really hope you’re doing well now and back on track- let me know! Today marks my first day of getting my head back in the game also. Best of luck to you!
