3 Week Challenge/ Baby Got Back
Well this week has been tough. I almost faltered yesterday after an interview because I was a bit offcycle with my food. But I made it home and got my head under control. I did use the cheat option this week. It was well within my limits about 300 calories for a piece of pizza. I have been doing such hard cardio sometimes 2 sessions a day that I didnt feel weighed down from it. I just ate it with the family and kept moving on. It wasnt hard to go to my next meal of egg whites after that. Frankly, my body has been craving water and veggies and protien. My tastebuds have changed in the last 8 weeks. Sugar foods arent appealing to me. Fast foods and restaurant fare seems like such sludge. I dont know. I just want to be in control, treat my body as the temple it is and to just feel great. I havent felt this energized in years. I know this week will be difficult for me during the new hire orientation. But I am making plans in advance to succeed. I know if I can make it through this week it will be just one more testament. I dont want to have a life full of excuses and justifications. I want to have a life full of successes and right choices!
Thanks everyone for allowing me to participate and for sharing so candidly in all of your blogs. They have helped me all week!

Recognizing that you are changing is a great sense of awareness. When other comment on the change it motivation. Good luck in the future.

I know what you mean about the sugar. Everything is "super" sweet to me too! Guess that’s a good thing so i stay about from it!
Good luck on your goals I think your head is in the right place!

Sounds like a great week. I really like how you ate the piece of pizza and moved on. That’s the way to do it.

Your week sounds like it was very successful. More power to you for eating only one slice of pizza. There’s no way I could do it, so for now there is no cheating. keep up the good work!

Good job on the first week! I also opted for cheat this week, and feel just fine with it! Plus, it was under the limit, so I didn’t feel guilty about it!

WOW>>> amazing!!! if that had been me eating pizza it would have turned into 2 slices, my kids leftover pepperoni, some peanutbutter on a spoon and…. (yes, once I start I can’t stop!) To me that amount of self-control is just fabulous!!! Way to go!
Stay strong this week and remember to keep making the best choices for yourself and don’t cave to what is easiest or what others are doing!!! woooohooooo!!!!
