CONgrats on your contributor gig!

I was in a similar boat in 2006. My boyfriend at first thought it wad so cool that I competed and always bragged about how good I looked and how dialed in I was. He pressured me so hard to move in with heim, proomising to take care of me and he'd buy me an economical car so I could travel to all my shows. But when I moved in..., BAM! He did just about everything to make sure I failed. Including breaking my ankle &amp; nose and threatening to have my gym memberships cancelled when I couldn't work. It took 3 weeks to gain the strenghth to get out. Off season, I will get nastygrams from him about how he saw me out &amp; about and how I look so crappy compared to when we were together! Now I got a man who's just as passionate about fitness , occasionally competes and is so supportive &amp; encouraging.... Everything is finally falling into place.

I can only assume, it's all falling into place for you too! You go girl! Tear em up! And I hope that ex sees you now and dreads treating the way he did. Sone guys just can't stand a successful woman! Real men don't have an issue with it :-)

be well &amp; keep up the good work

i just finished watching the Jay cutler video (road to Olympia) and the thing that really stands out is the unbelievable support he gets from his spouse and that no way in hell would he be where he is had he not had the support from her. I believe that this is a sport for strong TEAMS.

you go girl!dont let anyone stand in your way!!

Support plays a good part of our motivation. Surround yourself with positive people and get rid of the negative. Always remember you are doing it for you, not for someone else. For once be selfish because you are the only one who can defeat yourself if you allow the haters get to you.

Good luck on the competition!

They say stress causes so much damage!!! It's crazy!! Of course we all can't live on pillow top clouds and float the day away,.....lol

Supportive friends and family are so crucial!! Lucky to have them so supportive of me and my fitness goals!! having a significant other that does not support is terrible!! I couldn't imagine going through all that again!!!

Thanks so much everyone for your words of support!! All the best to you and your goals!! =)

Support of those closest to you is SO important! My husband stood by me the first time around and suggested I compete again this time... Having that NOT to worry about is so much nicer!

Good luck! You're looking amazing!
