8200 lbs…
Sunday, January 6th, 2008I’ll be leaving in a little bit for a killer leg workout. It’s the first leg workout on 4×10. I’ll do 4×10 for the next 2 or 3 weeks and then reduce the reps and increase weight gradually till 7×6. I’m going to try 205 lbs on deadlifts for 4 sets of 10, 8200 lbs! It’s really not a lot for deads but I’ve only been doing them for a couple months now, so I’m happy with it. I really feel like I could probably do more, maybe 225 for at least the first set. But I really want to be careful with deadlifts because of the tension it puts on the lower back. I don’t want to jump up to fast and hurt anything. I wish I knew how valuable of a workout they were a long time ago. If you’re reading this and you don’t do deads, I strongly suggest you start! Just make sure you know exactly how to do them with perfect form because you can get jacked up if you don’t. But once you get it down, they sure do make the 501’s look good on your ass! Hahaha!
