Man i swear whenever I get going on a good workout routine, I end up hurting something random. The other day I was doing a load of laundry and all of a sudden my back just started hurting. It’s been very touchy since then. I figured I would give it some rest because I do not want it to get any worse. I’ll start workin out on Monday.

i need to get serious about my diet. I ate out way too much last week, thinking my workouts would cancel it out. Nope. I just need to really focus and drop some pounds!

Man my weeks are officially stacked. I am on campus pretty much from 830 til 7. I did manage to workout everyday last week and it paid off. I lost 2.5 lbs. I imagine walking around campus, while eating light, and working out everyday will start showing results very fast. I am very pleased with these results.

reboot

the gym was closed during break, so I havent worked out in 2 weeks! I havent gained any weight, but I haven’t lost much either. I have 17 hours of classes, so I have to figure out how to squeeze in an hour or two at the gym everyday. Today was good. 40 mins of cardio and then some quad presses and crunches. I have class again at 530…so I have to get ready for that.

 Anyways, I am pretty optimistic about the next weeks progress. We will see.

i didnt work out at all this week. sadly i was sore from last weekends ****fest. by the time i got over that, i had to move about 100 boxes of charts and filing cabinets from the old office to the new office. needless to say that was definitely the rest of the weeks workout. i was pretty much useless after that. Yesterday, I was going to the gym when I realized i had to move some more stuff…sooo after another 2 hours of moving, i was spent.

I didn’t know how much (if any) weight i was going to lose this week. I went to a party on sat. night and ate/drank a bit. I have really been watching the amount of food I have been eating. When I get hungry late at night, I drink a bunch of ice water. Seems to do the trick!

to club or not to club?

workouts went well last week. did some real work. saturday a buddy of mine had a going away party. needless to say we went out and drank a good bit! i was concerned about ruining all the work from the past week with one crazy night out. turns out i still managed to lose some weight, but the question is: how much weight could i have lost if i didnt drink? i stuck to liquor (i knew it would take a good bit of beers to do the job for me and thats a ton of calories).

anyways, if any of you guys party and still see results, or have any tips/suggestions…let me know!

dog days of summer

phew…man my workouts have definately changed for the better. i finally have access to a gym. i use my schools gym after i get out of class. it has a great elliptical machine which i really have been missing lately. treadmill is fine, but my joints tend to hurt after the day in day out routine. with ellipticals i can go a lot harder, longer, and i am drenched in sweat afterwards. also, there are many weight machines for my use. so i’m not stuck at lifting 20 pounds a million times for a good workout.

 all that is good, but i still gained a pound over the week. i know why too. there seemed to be like a million family and friend get togethers. needless to say, i ate out a lot last week. ALSO saturday night i caved in and went to a few bars. i forgot how many calories are in just a few beers! its like not even worth it sometimes! (notice how i said sometimes haha)

 anyways, i’m tryin to be better about updating, and being more social on here. i’m tryin to get more friends on this thing. anybody out there wanting some occasional motivational comments? i’m your man!

badass

lost 4.6 pounds. which feels great to start gaining ground. i tried to get back to the workout routine, but i had 2 big tests to study for (today). so starting tomorrow, i will only have one class and will be able to go back to my old routine. now i have access to a gym…so i’m loving being back on the elliptical, and having more freedom with weight machines.

 anyways, slowly but surely…im gonna make my goal!

uhohhh

2 pound gain!

not suprising though…the past week consisted of:

1)many classes/group meetings/tests/presentations

2)3 birthdays, a funeral, and 4th of july

3)all kinds of good food and no exercise!

 Good thing is, my back isn’t hurting (as much). there is still a lil twinge here and there, but nothing major.

Anyways, so I’ll take this 2 pound gain and make it positive. I will use it as motivation to start up the workout routine. I decided to take it back to square one and see where I stand.
