Got to meet Bob Cicherillo
Well, we all got to meet Bob Cicherillo here last week. Don’t suppose I’ve shaken hands with a pro bodybuilder before… Kind of makes you feel like you should be leaving the ground when he shakes your hand… if you know what I mean… (up and down… ‘can you put me down, mr. bob, please, thanks).
What a pleasant guy, though. He had a good demeanor. Glad to have met him. Now I can put a body.. er… face… with the voice you hear so often. — and did I mention how cool I think his voice is? He makes for a great spokesperson! "Hi, this is Bob Cicherillo…" (Man, could you hear that?)
Anyway, life resumes once again.
And this last weekend I purchased tickets to go see David Copperfield in March at the Morrison Center in Boise, Idaho. I was so excited when my mom called me up and said that he was coming and that she could get me reduced price tickets. We bought them immediately. (Did I mention by the way, that I was, myself, a professional magician for a few years?)
At any rate, there’s a problem. You see, it is a part of my religious beliefs that I "keep the Sabbath day holy", or in other words, I don’t go out to see entertainment or go shopping, etc. on Sunday. And what do you know? It’s on a Sunday! Arg. Now I’m going to have to write Mr. Copperfield and see if there is a way I can get a refund… (the box office doesn’t do refunds. once you pay for it, you bought it.)
Well, I won’t be going either way… as excited as I was to go in the first place.
Ah, well. Another day, another adventure.
Good morning and good Monday to you all!
