switching up your routine!

as someone who has only been in the gym for shy of a year now i have always kept a pretty basic workout routine, however ive always read you need to switch it up… i do but i never switch the number of reps up just the workout… well i have seen results but nothing like this before. so for one month now, we switched it completely doing a burnout set as the first workout… making the rest of the workout harder and reaching fatigue everytime! well this is what we do, one bodypart a day… example for legs we start with full barbell squats, when we do it we try to get a total of 50reps within 3 maybe 4 sets- typically using a weight heavy enough to finish in 3sets but making it difficult enough to cause struggle while getting there. typically i got for 3 sets, 20-15-15 not changing the weight… then we finish the workout by doing 2 more exercises so its a short workout, try to rest for no more than a minute between reps and 3 minutes between workouts so you can get in and out and feel the workout the following day. i feel after doing this plan when we get back to our normal routine ill see and increase in my weights for sure and ik that my endurance has really increased so im excited to continue this type of routine in the future! switching a routine up can surprise your muscles and body to keep things new and continue the growth when you hit your peaks or plateau. well good luck to everyone with their future workouts and if youd like any more info on this program, just throw a message- always here for help and always searching for other real programs that will help me out more! any tips/comments/assistance-
