Went to the gym late last night/early this morning.  Great workout.

carb cycling … again

So I’m carb cycling again.  Yeah …

You know, no-carb and low-carb days seem to be pretty easy if you’ve done this type of dieting before for a ridiculously long period of time.  However, why would I do something again when I didn’t get the results I wanted?  He he he, I did … but I just sucked at the cardio part and relied too heavily on stimulants so I never really got down to the bf percentage I wanted.  This time is a bit different as I don’t think I’m really doing this for any type of goal but to just stop feeling slovenly.  My energy levels were always a lot better when doing this type of diet as opposed to when no on.  So i’m doing no carbs/low carb workout days for 5 days straight with my carb days on weekend.

Of course, I’m using the AP on the low carb and carb days.  I’d get too hypoglycemic using it on no carbs but I’ve got to research that one a bit more too.  Upping the fish oil intake to where I get about 2.4g of DHA and 1.7g of EPA daily as well.  I’d like more, I want more, but my wallet doesn’t want me to have it.

Of course my training isn’t where I want it but its getting better.  Since the kid quit or is just not acting right, I’m going to just go ahead and do my own thing, forget about everything else and if possible, get my complexes in some kind of way but I’ll most likely have to do something weird for those.

So today is day 4 of my torture of the kid I’m training.  Too bad the next few nights are going to be some late workouts (11 pm) and well, I wake up at 5 or 6 AM to get to work at 7.  I know a walking zombie when I see one.

Its for the best though … I think.

He gets to sleep at least.  I’ll be posting how it goes.  YIPPY!!!!!!

Wow, so 2 workouts in a row and 2 days of complexes straight.  I need more time like this.

Hhhhmmm, so to get this kid I’m training and my schedule to work together throughout the week.  *sigh* …

This is gonna be hard as hell.  Might have to do a couple of 11 pm workouts.

Other than that, I’m feeling pumped as hell.  :-)   pumped as all hell.  This post workout nutrition is awesome too.

Morning workouts and almost perfection …

So I went to the gym this morning to do some complexes and cardio.  I’m telecommuting today so I had a freebie.  This is a good thing because I was on my way last night and remembered I didn’t turn the oven off after cooking my delightful yams.  So I drove back and realized I had turned it off.  Oh well, I wasn’t going back.  That gym is on the other side of town and this is what happens when you find the perfect gym, but its too far for you to go to so you go to the next best thing around which is also far, but not as far as perfection.  I plan on moving closer to perfection at the end of the year so … no excuses then.
So I went to the next best thing this morning and I think I am officially hooked again … I just gotta wrap this into my schedule somehow.  So that was great, along with my insane amount of calorie burning in 25 minutes but thats just because i’m a weirdo.  To top it off, I’m training a 19 year old now and well, just to get back into the swing of things I’m going to have to work out along with him until my old fave training partner of all time comes back in next week.  Then I won’t feel so outclassed I gather.  So he’ll be doing one of my newbie routines and I might as well do it since I’ve been so inconsistent all year, it might be the best thing for me until I get back into the swing of things.  He he, but that starts this afternoon so it’ll be fun … if my life doesn’t get in the way of my addiction.
