Right around the corner
Well, last week I got another job so I resigned. Training officially starts when I start the new job on the 5th. Maybe training starts on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. I just know one thing, my training partner and I are really looking forward to it. This past weekend I found myself in an unofficial grappling match and was slightly frightened that since my training (weights, any type of grappling/wrestling/martial art) has been non-existent for so long. Well, I do some cardio, not too serious though.
That was fun but luckily my newfound opponent ( who just happens to have way more grappling experience then I do ) had been lacking in the training department as well and happened to get taken out. Then there was the knife fighting incident, which I lost, but no one lost any blood so thats a good thing. I guess I’m not as out of shape as I thought I was and this loss of 20+ lbs seems to make it easier to move around for various setups. However, the lack of strength makes it hard as well. However, his is going to be a good training season when I return, unless I get caught up in the money in which case, I’ll still be happy.
I’m looking forward to it.

Knife fights and grappling matches! You seem to have your hands full even though your not training. Congrats on the new job and can’t wait for the training post!
