Working on naturally building the perfect beast
Saturday, December 9th, 2006I finished reading Author L. Rea’s book, "Building the Perfect Beast Naturally" about 9 weeks ago. Its funny, because well, my new training partner (who happens to be the best partner I’ve had hands down since my freshman year high school) and I have been pretty much enjoying the Power/Rep Range/Shock routine outlined in his book. I think its great … the gains we’ve made have been quite impressive.
However, after this last shock week and the week long break, we will be moving to something that I’ve done before. Westside barbell for skinny bastards … an almost westside routine like something IronAddict would have given me. Way back when he was my trainer. I’m not going to get into how great of a trainer he was. Suffice to say I’m about to try to find a way to fit some sled training into our routine along with the crazy amounts of jump ropes and suicides we have in there now.
This is going to be a fun next 8 weeks, after the next 2 are done.
I think I’ll start posting here more often.
